this property was stunning, it was like walking into a movie set. so nicely updated but with tons of charm and comfort. It had so many thoughtful amenities such as everything needed for young kids ( baby gate, high chair, plastic cups and a bed) and things like extra blankets and pillows and baskets for laundry. Such a great retreat. The back garden is a dream. the owners also left a great guide book with useful info. Even though Castle Combe is a top attraction for tourists the mornings and evenings were fairly quiet we had no issue parking on the Street. there are also some footpath trails that connect from the road to the village center

The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, a king-size and a second-floor double with en-suite bathroom, along with a ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is a rear, multi-level, enclosed garden, off-road parking for one car and roadside parking. There is a pub within 0.3 miles and a shop within 1.8. Pets and smoking are not allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburner, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. There are two stone steps up to the entrance, as well as a narrow, spiral staircase inside. There are low beams and sloped ceilings in the second-floor bedroom and bathroom. There is a pond in the garden, please take care. For a traditional cottage in the Cotswolds, whisk your loved ones away to 2 School Lane. Property will have a small Christmas tree and decorationsParking - The lane outside of the property, can load/unload. Free roadside parking on 'The Street' first come first served basis. Additional public car park 2 mins walk away, with the summer months, the Gardner will be attending the property a couple of times a week to maintain the garden.

Castle Combe is in Wiltshire's AONB Cotswolds. By Brook offers a peaceful walk while Castle Combe Woods offers a scenic trail. The Old Stables serves cream tea, and Bybrook serves seafood. The Manor House Golf Club and Castle Combe Circuit are outside the village. Chippenham is home to John Coles Park, a beautiful green space perfect for a summer picnic, and Chippenham Museum, which documents the town's history. After a day of sightseeing in Chippenham, relax at Jolly's Irish Cafe. Bath is beautiful and historic. The Roman Baths and Theatre Royal are popular attractions. The city also has the world-famous Thermae Bath Spa.
