The cottage was cozy and welcoming--It felt like home. The view from the back was stunning. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of wood for stove. Location was perfect for exploring Carew and Pembroke castles, St Davids, and the coast. Great place for taking short hikes--the kids enjoyed exploring the old quarries.
Internet service was excellent! Recommendations were spot on--enjoyed a cider and fish and chips at the pub and picked up several bottles of milk and even gelato at the Milk vendor!

Clean, airy and pleasant room with great bathroom and shower. Good TV, and wi-fi. Enjoyed the full breakfast too. Free on-site parking is always a bonus, and with Plas Hyfryd just a short walk from the top of Narberth's main street the location could hardy be more convenient for a short break in the town.

Breakfast was brilliant. As was evening meal. Staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The garden bar was lovely.
Perfect location for seeing all of Pembrokeshire; wonderful...
Perfect location for seeing all of Pembrokeshire; wonderful views of Preseli hills and surrounding countryside. The village itself doesn't have much of interest but there's a decent grocery store (and two petrol stations!).

Brynhaul Bed and Breakfast is absolutely the place to stay.
Brynhaul Bed and Breakfast is absolutely the place to stay. I swore I preferred coast over Maenclochog, but changed my opinion after this stay among the flowers, open grass and a symphony of birds in the morning. What a wonderful experience with fantastic hosts (Steve and Elfrys), spectacular breakfasts and a great place with peaceful and homemade detail. Brynhaul is not a try; it is a must.
Cenarth Cheese (Caws) is another must. Wow. Prince Charles liked their cheese, and so did we. Again, fantastic family owners who, even though busy, take time to explain the chemistry behind the cheese and all other questions one might have. What quality!
Eat at The Farmers Arms for dinner. A very popular locals eats at: Mathry Hill, Mathry, Pembrokeshire SA62 5HB. - a homemade and family run traditional Welsh Pub.
If you like bugs, the Bug Farm (near St David's) looked very interesting, but we missed going because close is 4:30pm. Would have loved to try a bug meal though! Helps to have studied termites in Africa at length in the past. Makes the whole thing a bit more palatable :-)

Absolutely loved the place.
Absolutely loved the place. The first thing I did when we got there was hide the Wifi password from the kids and they loved being out in the fresh air for a change instead on stuck on their phones. Nice and out of the way kinda of place but not difficult to get to places with a short drive. Definitely recommend the place and will definitely be booking again. It's a nice little sun trap for eating outside on a nice evening
