Lovely & spacious maisonette located in a very convenient area close to Bath city centre. Great for self catering as has good size kitchen, including large fridge / freezer & plenty of cooking utensils / crockery. We were also treated to eggs, bread, OJ & fruit by the host which was a lovely surprise on arrival. Great location for parking too - within easy reach of the property.

The maisonette (with parking) consists of the top two floors of a fine Grade 1 listed Georgian town house, on what is reputed to be one of the finest residential streets in Europe! The spacious apartment, decorated with fine furnishings and antiques, consists of three bedrooms (two king sized doubles with showers and a twin room with bathroom) as well as a dressing room on the top floor, a grand drawing room, dining room and fully fitted kitchen as well as a forth bathroom on the floor below. We furnish the fridge with few breakfast staples so our guests can make themselves a simple morning meal before exploring our beautiful City!
12 years as a Navy pilot then 45 as commercial pilot , been round the world, now retired and a frustrated farmer! We are available to offer our in depth local knowledge and advice to our guests and help book any restaurants they may require, or advise on finding those hidden gems that our guests may not be aware of.
Located a stones throw from central Bath, surrounded by fine Georgian architecture, and a leisurely level stroll to the world famous Roman Baths, plentiful shops, the historic Holbourne Museum, the Victoria Art Gallery, the Guildhall Market, and our fabulous Saturday farmers market at Green Park Station, is a must for foodies! The always fascinating Flea market, located in Walcot Street, is again on a Saturday! There are lots of wonderful things to see and do within metres of the front door! You will literally be spoilt for choice! But being a residential street it is very quiet. As No. 73, is very centrally located, we recommend the best way to explore the city is on foot. But if you would rather a more leisurely way to see the city, we recommend taking the tourist bus where once you have bought a day ticket you can hop on and off the buses at any pick up point and enjoy moving around the city without wearing out your legs! Scooters are also available to hire for those brave enough.
