Beautiful home, lovely size yet very cosy. Easy to find and plenty of space to park. Great location for bath or Wells or even Western. Would highly recommend.

This delightful period cottage is peacefully situated a short distance from the Roman City of Bath, Bristol and England's smallest Cathedral City - Wells. The Dorset Coast and New Forest is within 2 hours drive making this the perfect touring base. The property has been lovingly restored and still retains many of it's original features. The accommodation comprises of a spacious lounge with original fireplace, dining room with flagstone flooring, 2 family bathrooms, a king size bedroom, a double bedroom with original fireplace and a fully equipped galley style kitchen. The front country cottage style garden is fully planted with a patio area and seating - a tranquil spot to relax after a full day sightseeing. There is also a private rear courtyard again with seating. The property benefits from off street parking for 2 cars.
After living next door to Harvel Cottage for over 20 years we felt it was the perfect opportunity to buy it when it came onto the market earlier this year. During our time living 'next door' we have constantly admired the cottage's originality and beautiful gardens which change with every season. We couldn't envisage anyone else living there so decided to restore it and allow others to enjoy its homely feel. We hope you will love Harvel Cottage as much as we do.
Paulton is a large village and civil parish, located to the north of the Mendip Hills, in the unitary authority of Bath and North East Somerset (BANES), England. Paulton is a former coal mining village and the terminus of the Somerset Coal Canal is at Paulton basin, just north of the village. Paulton was home to the now-closed Polestar Purnells printing factory and Ashman's boot factory, where 'Voidax' safety footwear was manufactured, and in particular Motorcycle speedway boots. Paulton has a small hospital, doctors surgery, dentist, chemist, nursing home, library, public swimming pool, newsagent, travel agent, two convenience stores, a filling station, three takeaways, fire station, two pre-schools (Noahs Ark Preschool and Acorn Pre-school), an infant school and junior school. The village is also served by a nearby supermarket. There are two pubs in the village: The Red Lion and The Lamb. There is also an Italian Restaurant called La Campagna.
