Ballycastle is a small historic town with great sea views and a ferry that takes you to amazing Rathlin Island - the place for puffins. It is a gateway to the beautiful nine glens of Antrim, it is withing close driving distance to Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge and the famous Giant's Causeway.

I have travelled to Ballycastle many times - for its size the town has many amenities such as resturants, pubs, cafes, etc. The natural beauty in the area is great including the beach area, Fair Head rock formation, and the rolling hills in the area.

Sharon was a very attentive host providing us with excellent tips on where to eat, places to visit & with the weather being a total washout on our first day, with high winds, & heavy showers, she provided advice on some quality alternative experiences.
A superb host, providing clean, luxurious accommodation in a location 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the town, with a breakfast to set you up to reach base camp on Everest...we would definitely recommend

This is our 2nd trip to Ballycastle and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
However, what we didnt enjoy was the fact, that we had a fully electric car and out of 3 electric chargers there was just one but permanently out of order!!!! which is just unacceptable.
Whats more,Bushmills also didn't have a working EV charger so we were very stressed out looking for a working charger the whole afternoon which with 2 small kids it's no fun!The nearest EV charger is in Portrush so one has to plan it's journey.

Great little seaside town! Just ask Irene what to do and where to eat, she has fantastic tips!
Town has a laundromat which was very convenient for us.
Only a 3 min drive to the beach from Irene’s and easy to get around
We went to O’Connor s pub for dinner, great food and a good variety. Really fun atmosphere, and even hard our first Guinness here

Hotel in great location with small playground/park, beach & harbour all very short walk away & very friendly staff. Some nice bars in the town for food (Diamond & O’Connors) & had great live music experience in the Harbour bar on Sat night 1st July, Band were good fun.
Great home and would stay again. The house was clean, the bed comfy, and the neighborhood quiet. The owner, Colin was super friendly and very responsive to any questions. The location was perfect - a forest is just at the end of the street, the beach is nearby and shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and pubs are just around the corner. The ferries are close by too making a boat trip super easy. I loved Ballycastle and this property and would definitely stay again. Colin is dog-friendly and the yard is enclosed which was another added bonus.
The Appartment was beautiful and spotless it had everything we needed. The location is just perfect for beach, shops, bars, cafes. The host was very quick to respond to any queries. I requested an earlier check-in on the morning of arrival and they were able to accommodate this. Also I appreciate that our dog Sam was welcome in this accommodation as he is part of our family, it's great when hosts understand this. We had an amazing few days in Ballycastle as we always do but this accomadation made our stay more enjoyable. Thanks to Majella
This exceptionally clean Ballycastle B&B has some of the most spectacular sea views. Just up the hill from the Ballycastle beach and ferry entrance, the Ardaghmore B&B’s front garden welcomes you with beautiful flowers and sitting spaces. Upon entering the home, you are welcomed by the friendly inn keeper and shown to your room. I had the massive front room with windows overlooking the sea. The entire home was spot less and the location couldn’t be best if you’re going to take the ferry to Rathlin island.
Glass Island was a joy in and of itself. Sharon and her husband treated us so kindly. Their suggestions for Ballycastle were spot on and their advice for The Giants Causeway and the rope bridge were truly insightful.
The food was grand.
Prior to our arrival, Sharon kindly called to warn me regarding some traffic patterns in Ballycastle that could have affected our approach to Glass Island. Truly thoughtful.
A comfortable, spacious house in a great location, a short drive or walk from the beach and Rathlin Island ferry in Ballycastle. An easy drive to the Giant's Causeway and the spectacular Antrim coast. Clodagh's detailed guide to the area was very helpful. The enclosed garden was very safe for our dog.
Beautiful place to stay in Ballycastle! A hidden gem luxurious very modern decor. Large comfy bed and a delicious breakfast.
Lovely accommodation very close to the seafront marina and beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glass Island; thanks very much to Sharon for making us feel so welcome.
The Rose Garden Room with hot tub was perfect for a night away. Situated just a 20 min walk from Ballycastle centre.
The self contained studio had everything we needed.
Fiona is a great host, she was very accommodating to assist with us moving our booking.
Really recommend a stay here
Location very good. Kitchen Dining and Lounge area Specious. Nice garden area, but a bit cool for us to sit out too long. Quiet area, Close to Co-Op supermarket, Restaurants and Pubs. 12min walk to Beach and Harbour. Ballycastle is near main tourist attractions. Wifi good.
Deirdre is one of the most genuine and caring hostesses we’ve met. She truly cares about the quality of her accommodations and service to guests. The details and decor of her lodgings matter to her, and that concern makes each room comfortable and inviting.
An excellent experience. An attentive host and excellent facilities, all in the great town of Ballycastle. It was a little bit like stepping back in time to the boarding houses of yesteryear, but with all facilities of 2023 at the same time. Brill
The accommodation was very good. The private entrance was great and let you feel totally in control of your stay. The emails from the landlord with contact details for restaurants and things to do around the area were very helpful as well.
We were staying in the 6-bed room/ dorm with friends. The room is big enough, clean and the bathroom is well maintained. Beds are dormitory style, but ok to sleep (comparing to other N. Ireland hotels).
Martin.was a terrific host! Very warm and welcoming, excellent breakfast, recommendations, and great conversation. Very comfortable place, and lovely quiet location near Ballycastle.
Natasha is fantastic and wonderful. She was a fantastic hostess and we really enjoyed our stay. a wonderful breakfast, great accommodations, and friendly visit for our family.
