This was a family home and guests can make use of the kitchen, dining room and lounge. There is a private and secure garden in which guests can sit in and enjoy the sun or feed the birds. Many of the furnishings are mid century. It is a clean, warm and comfortable home in the heart of beautiful Bearsden within walking distance to local amenities and transport. 25 minutes to the Trossachs and Loch Lomond national parks. 59 minutes to the capital Edinburgh and 20 minutes to Glasgow offering a cultural wealth of experiences.
I love meeting people from all over the world and making their visit to Bearsden and Scotland a thoroughly memorable experience whether it’s to catch up with friends, play golf, explore the beautiful countryside or just relax with a wee dram. I spend a lot of time at Loch Lomond and enjoy nothing better than being on the water and travelling to different islands with my two Border Terriers Coire and Loki
Bearsden is an ancient burgh offering a wreath of attractions. Mugdock Country Park is but a short drive away, the Roman Antonine Wall and baths can be viewed at Beasden Cross. Milngavie is the start of the famous West Highland Way. There are many locally owned tea rooms, cafes, bars and restaurants at Bearsden Cross just 5 minutes walk from Lokiladdich and some lovely gift shops both in Bearsden and Milngavie to see.
