The Mayfield Apartments by Oceander, as featured on Channel 4's Four in a Bed, is an amalgamation of two successful short and long stay accommodation companies operating several properties in the Sunderland area. We are dedicated to providing top-notch self-catering accommodation with as low an environmental impact as possible, which is why we have chosen to support Surfers Against Sewage in their quest to protect our oceans and waterways. We are the founders of the Sunderland Plastic Free Community and are proud to lead the way in encouraging other local businesses to get on board and help one another on our mission

Welcome to The Mayfield Apartments, the building was built in the mid 19th Century and we have chosen to decorate the place in keeping with this style. The property comprises 9 bookable, self contained, dog friendly units. Our guests love the beach front location and the easy self check-in system. There is always someone on hand to assist should you need anything to make your stay more enjoyable. We have adopted a new theme

Located in the North of Sunderland city, just a stone's throw from the stunning Seaburn and Roker Beaches, with its wildlife, birdlife and fantastic views our hotel is ideally located to make the most of this stunning part of the North East coast. Take your pic from a multitude of bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants to refresh yourself during your trip or jump on the Seaburn Metro to easily access to the rest of the region. Or you could hop on a bus to the city centre and enjoy everything this up and coming city has to offer.
