Bushmills is a charming small town just minutes from the Giants Causeway, with beautiful rocky beaches nearby, several delightful pubs in town, and of course the Old Bushmills Distillery. The tour was a fascinating view into how whiskey is made and distributed. This was our first visit to Northern Ireland and the North Coast, and Bushmills was a highlight. Quaint little town with choice of three convenience stores for essentials. Well paced for all tourist attractions on the Causeway Coast. Bilberry Mill Cafe is highly recommended for a variety of meals and caters for gluten free; also Flash in the Pan Fish and Chips. Bushmills has lost a couple of pubs in recent years, but still has everything you could wish for in a small town. The walk to the Giants Causeway (along the tramway) is beautiful and takes a little over 1 hour. The Giants Causeway is spectacular and a must visit. Spotless and newly renovated (and a stone throw away from The Giants Causeway) Grays at Bushmills did not disappoint. We recommend having a bite to eat at the Smugglers Inn, the cosy pub inside the Hotel. The food was delicious, (I would recommend the slow cooked pork) The breakfast also is not to be missed!!
