The flat was great, really well thought through, great design and homely, with simple touches such as a good radio, chilled wine and snacks waiting for us to arrive. Centrally located on a quiet street, a couple of streets out of the tourist hustle and bustle, this was a great place to explore Bath.

The Writers retreat is a stylish one bedroom apartment in the heart of beautiful Bath. It is in the perfect location for exploring all that the city has to offer, with all of Baths iconic historical, cultural and sporting attractions, and shopping quarters just a short walk away. After a busy day exploring, you'll find plenty of fantastic nearby cafes, restaurants and bars to unwind in. This apartment is a true gem, the perfect retreat to relax in during your city break to Bath. The space The apartment is on the first floor of a Georgian town house on a quiet street, at the top end of the city centre. The stunning interior, with high ceilings and large windows, is light and spacious and has been beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard, with guests comfort being carefully considered. The elegant living area is open plan, with a sofa bed (190cm long and 140cm wide, slightly larger than a UK double. It is designed to be slept on with the sofa back to your side rather than as a headboard) and dining space which leads onto a compact modern kitchen. The bedroom has a king size bed (UK King and it is 150cm wide and 200cm long), and the bathroom has a bath/shower with high spec fixtures and fittings. The apartment also benefits from having a separate office space, perfect if you are able to work remotely or just looking to embrace your inner creativity. You'll find this a sophisticated space to relax in and enjoy time together. There is free parking on Sion Hill or paid at Charlotte Street carpark
