For us it was Ideal for visiting family and friends. Bishop Auckland, Durham, Barnard Castle, all within easy short drives. Great area to explore. House is on a street of houses, outside the village. The pub and nearest shop are a drive away. Owners live next door so on hand for keys and anything else, the back garden is shared with them but sectioned for privacy. Parking is directly outside, with a few steps up to the Front door. (not obvious in the picture). Everything that you could want inside. Quirky vintage chic. Warm and cosy with additional electric fire for when heating is off. Plenty of hot water. Only used the main bedroom which was very comfortable. Stairs are steep and might be something to bear in mind.
