I really enjoyed the location and the countryside accompanying it. The property itself has a garden area to view and a farm right next to it full of the local animals. Although having a smaller than expected room , it had a pretty spacey bathroom...

Property info

Ravenstone Lodge Hotel, which is now a part of the Ravenstone Manor, is a small privately owned 3-star Country House Hotel with rosetted restaurant and a bistro situated in glorious Lake District scenery beneath Skiddaw, between Ullock Pike and Bassenthwaite Lake and just a few minutes’ drive from Keswick. The countryside surrounding Ravenstone Lodge Hotel reflects everything for which the Lake District is best known and from our terrace and conservatory you can soak up the magical views and between April & September quite possibly watch the Ospreys circling overhead. Ravenstone Lodge Hotel is different to many hotels in the Lake District. We have the attributes you might expect including a cosy bar for those frosty winter nights, a conservatory with stunning views and a terrace for the long summer evenings and we also have our rosetted Coach House Restaurant and our Stable Bar Bistro for less formal meals. However, what perhaps is that because of our size and with a team committed to making your stay memorable we offer a truly personal service and will do our utmost to meet any requirements. The facilities at the Ravenstone Manor are also at your disposal. We look forward to welcoming you to Ravenstone Lodge to experience our very personal service.
