The hotel was very nice. The restaurant prices were reasonable, as were the bar prices. The bar staff and waitresses were also friendly. The breakfast the next morning was also very good.

Good for weekend break close to town Glasgow fort parkhead forge and Cumbernauld shopping centre and retail park. Enjoyed our stay been there couple times hope to go bk soon. Staff very friendly . Food is banging aswell.

Kilsyth is a town full of history from the mines to the weaving. It should really have a museum in the main street. Colzium is a beautiful park with flowers and walks. We found the hotel to be really nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful but the restaurant was a complete surprise. There was a huge choice of food on offer and the meals were excellent and generous. Breakfast was equally as good. They even stored our cycles overnight for us so if you're doing the John Muir Way, consider this as a good stopping point.
