This is a superb little property. ideal for a couple - the lounge area is clean and simple with TV and very comfy couch, kitchen has everything you need and is bright and airy - the trifold door allows full access to the garden - very pleasant on the summers days we stayed. Downstairs shower loo is convenient and the upstairs bedroom with adjoining changing room with wardrobes is well sized - bathroom and bath a little small but quite suitable. We stayed here when visiting central London for BST festival - connection to central london on the Central line with 2 stops within 5 minutes both with care parking - less than an hour direct or change at Stratford for the Elizabeth line for a bit quicker ride. Other days great access to Epping Forest and other scenic attractions. The village of Abridge is nice with pubs and cafes

Exclusive use of a modern cottage within 30 minutes of central London and Stansted airport. Beautifully decorated with a large sitting room including log burner and smart TV, kitchen, bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite, dressing room, wet room and garden. Less than a 5 minute drive from the Central line, the cottage is ideal for professionals working in the area or for those wanting to explore the beautiful Epping Forest District.
I am a full time host based in Essex. I enjoy hosting and sharing my property for others to enjoy for long and short term stays.
The Village of Abridge is well connected, the nearest Central line station being less than a 5 minute drive away in the sleepy village of Theydon Bois. Abridge itself is home to 2 pubs, 3 restaurants, a sun bed shop, florist and post office. A 5 minute drive takes you to the Abridge garden centre where there is also a popular breakfast cafe. Less than a 10 minute drive takes you to the popular surrounding towns of Chigwell, Epping and Loughton where you will find many pubs, bars and restaurants including the famous Sheesh restaurant. Surrounded by countryside, Abridge offers beautiful walks across farmers fields all the way to Hainult forest and of course the ancient Epping Forest itself is less that a 5 minute drive from the cottage. There are regular bus services available in the village which will take you to the surrounding towns and Central line stations. Uber is available in this location and there is free parking at the cottage for one car on the driveway for guests that bring their own transport. The amenities in the village and countryside walks are accessible by foot.
