Great location and practically next to the pier. Very modern looking and swish vibe. Very clean rooms and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Beds were comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was excellent, offering a buffet-style selection with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Guests can even choose their preferred breakfast time, either 8:30 or 9:30, which adds a nice touch of flexibility. The front garden is also a lovely spot—cozy and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. On some occasions, the host’s friendly cat might even keep you company, which makes the experience even more charming.

What a wonderful place to stay in Llandudno. Easy access and free parking which is a true bonus. The property is immaculately maintained and as soon as you enter it feels relaxed and serene away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. Our room was on the second floor and beautifully decorated. Tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water which was gratefully received in the warm weather we were having. The breakfast in the wonderful dining room was perfect . My sister and I loved our stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who likes the extra touches of quality and ambience

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Cae Mor Hotel in Llandudno on August 1st. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and offered a breathtaking view of the beach - waking up to that each morning was such a treat. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the staff. Every single person we encountered took such clear pride in what they do, and it showed in the warm, attentive, and genuinely caring service we received from start to finish. They really MADE our trip. The on-site restaurant was equally impressive, serving stunning food that was both beautifully presented and full of flavour — easily among the best meals we’ve had while travelling. If you’re visiting Llandudno, I can’t recommend the Cae Mor Hotel enough. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, location, and exceptional hospitality.

FAQs about hotels in Llandudno

Victorian Resort with a Welsh Twist

The most popular Wales seaside resort, Llandudno covers a peninsula with 2 sandy coastlines. The North Shore’s wide Victorian promenade is lined with period buildings which now house seafront hotels and guest houses. The beach itself stretches all the way between the Little Orme and Great Orme headlands, passing an outdoor swimming pool.

A historic tram climbs to the peak of Great Orme, where Bronze Age copper mines can be visited. The top is also reachable by cable car from Happy Valley, a recreation area with gardens and an artificial ski slope.

A road runs around the base of the headland passing the historic Grand Hotel, a property available on Booking.com and overlooking the Grade II-listed pier – the longest in Wales. The West Shore is much less developed and the Maesdu Golf Course forms most of its shoreline.

Of course, Llandudno has its fair share of traditional seaside pursuits such as donkey rides and fish and chip shops.

The town also has a modern retail park near the train station and Venue Cymru event centre, and wrought-iron canopies shade smaller shops along Mostyn Avenue, Broadway and Street. The latter - Mostyn Street - is effectively the high street and becomes brightly decorated during the Victorian carnival in May.

Beautiful to visit we took the bus up the orme on the first day and the second day we walked it took 3 half hours at the top was fantastic views of the mountains. We also visited the local flea Market that was very interesting and lovely people we met there and we picked up a couple of keep sakes. Plenty of places to eat especially fish and chips we went to Seymour cafe and the fish and chips where delicious and they even done curry sauce which my son was made up with.

I loved all the choices you had on trips around llandudno. The hop on hop off bus was so regular and convenient. Lots of places to eat and very affordable. Lovely walks down the pier. The cable car was so exciting and peaceful. My hotel was perfect and lots more places to choose from depending on your budget.

Lovely wide promenade which was ideal for me in my motorised disability scooter. Sunday and Monday nights the town brass band give concerts from the band stand near the middle of the promenade. Excellent musicians - we were enthralled. The grandchildren enjoyed the activities on the pier especially the Ferris wheel. The streets off the Promenade are lively with many cafes and souvenir shops and there is a retail park within walking distance too. The only downside was the lack of toilets. Some cafes didn't have any at all and others had them but they were down steep steps & not accessible. The only public ones were in a garden square, the disabled one was out of order and only one of the other 3 would take the required 50p to open the door. I had to walk further out to M&S to find a usable toilet. That rather took the shine off a lovely holiday destination

This was my first trip to Llandudno.

This was my first trip to Llandudno. Only 4 days but could have stayed longer. Wide selection of hotels and guest houses, mostly kept in very good order and decoration. Nice wide promendade with plenty of parking. A lot of the parking is metered but further towards the little Orme parking on the seafront is free. Short walk from the seafront is a great range of independent shops, and well as the major chain stores and business parks. This is a town that works just as well out of season. Major theatre shows and plenty of live entertainments in churches and other venues. Link to Alice in Wonderland and circular bus tours.

For a small town there was plenty to keep you occupied.

For a small town there was plenty to keep you occupied. Got a fair way up the Great Orme and found there was a dry ski slope for the "younger set" to enjoy. The pier was just as you'd expect - full of families with young kids and loud music, the atmosphere was great. Plenty of pubs for a relaxing drink and also some very classy restaurants if you waant to treat yourself. We have already decided to return for a few days next year
