About this property
Set amid parkland with its illustrious history and contemporary renovation, Winstanley House is the place to be. As a boutique hotel, luxury venue and home to Black Iron, a contemporary British steakhouse and restaurant, we enjoy welcoming guests through our doors to create memories they’ll never forget. The venue is a Grade II Listed Georgian house located just outside of Leicester City Center with 19 stunning bedrooms, two elegant ballrooms, a modern British restaurant, private dining room and beautiful terraces all set in 168 acres of rolling public parkland. Rooms are located in to two areas. The original Georgian manor where rooms are accessed via the grand staircase; while the area around an enclosed courtyard offers access by both elevator and stairs. Please advise the hotel in advance if you require elevator access. Our ballrooms and kitchens are able to entertain over 500 guests, and our 19 rooms offer luxurious stays after busy days. Please note that only couples who have their weddings at Winstanley house are permitted on site in bridal wear. At the hotel, rooms include a desk, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The rooms at Winstanley House have air conditioning and a wardrobe. The accommodations also offers a terrace with a covered area providing shade from both sun and showers, perfect for alfresco drinks with friends. We also have 4 EV pay per charge units at the side of the property, located in our complimentary car park; able to accommodate up to 150 vehicles. You will find the hotel located in Leicester, 2.1 mi from De Montfort and Leicester University, while Belgrave Road is 3.7 mi from the property. The nearest airport is East Midlands Airport, 16 mi from the hotel. Access is gained by driving through Braunstone park to find the hotel hidden at its center. To reach the Hotel, we recommend access via the Gooding avenue entrance to the park, which can be best located using What 3 Words - Gets.charmingly.meal
