“We had heard about Sicilian hosipitality but these guys took it to a whole new level!!!!! The brothers just couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay. From the incredibly generous and tasty breakfast (WOW!!!!), the fresh fruit from their immense farm, to recommendations for places to visit, where to eat, to directions etc. the service was beyond outstanding. If we could rate Villa Maria Giovanna 20 out of 10 we would for the genuine enthusiasm, thoughfulness and energy of the staff alone. A rare treat. Thank you.”

“Francesco is a fabulous host. The gardens and exterior property are lush with fruit & nut trees and flowering plants. Rooms have patios over looking garden. Breakfasts are full with local home made goods. Very relaxing. Easy access to local attractions.”

“Gabrielle, one of the owners, is an excellent host. He immediately makes you feel at home and explains the surrounding areas and how to get there. The view , especially from the top floor is lovely with Etna on one side and the gardens on the other. Breakfast, due to Covid , is ordered a day before and is plentiful with a varied choice. If you're still peckish you can ask for more. Homemade stuff like jams are presented at breakfast made by the very able owner's father. The gardens are planted with exotic fruit and you get to taste them at breakfast. We had mango granita!!!!!”

“Villa situated in the middle of a beautiful large garden. Very friendly owners. Great breakfast on the terrace looking at the Etna. Clean rooms with direct access to the garden for the ones on the ground floor. Private parking. Great location to visit Taormara and Etna. Etc...etc... just a great place!”

“This is a nice historik villa with big garden with good location. Excellent choice to explore Taormina, Castellmare and surroundings. The room is cozy, clean with amazing terrace with view to month Etna. The bathroom is big. The beds are vety comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding, served in magic Vila's garden . There are mini bar in lobby with proseco , bier, water .... The prices are normal , like in the shops. There is a hypermarket nearby, where you can find everything you need included beach stuff. If you choose this accommodation you are be lucky with the host - Gabriel. He gave us priceless advises for Taormina and near restaurants. He speaks fluently English”
