The "Casa Marina" is located in ancient palace (1864), in the historic center of Milazzo, on the "Marina Garibaldi". The unit was completely restored in 2017; it has 3 rooms: entrance, bathroom, kitchen-living room and bedroom with a window overlooking the sea. The bedroom has a wardrobe, desk, chest of drawers, armchairs, sheets and accessories. In the house the beds available are 4: double, 2 single beds, 1 in the double bedroom and 1 in the kitchen-living room. The kitchen has a 4-burner hob, fridge with freezer, electric oven, coffee machine and accessories; it is equipped with wardrobes, cupboards and drawers and has cutlery, plates, tablecloths, pans and all the necessary crockery. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, bidet, and a comfortable 70x120 shower cabin. The entrance is on the mezzanine floor of the ancient building, with access from the Salita San Francesco to No. 1. The house has an area of about 45 square meters, has: air conditioning, TV (Cromecast -Netflix), Internet and free Wi-Fi, washing machine and ironing accessories. The house has a private common garden equipped with parking. Two bikes are available for free in the city.
Martina, was born and lived in Milan, she moved to Milazzo in 1989 after marrying Alberto and since then they have lived here with their sons Eugenio and Francesca. Since 2016 Martina and Alberto have hosted many tourists in their homes to rediscover the cultural and tourist heritage of Sicily and Milazzo. Alberto offers his guests his passion for the sea for sailing and fishing, for the history of Milazzo and Sicily. Guests on request can avail themselves of the collaboration of the landlords for the needs of their stay, while respecting privacy. On request, in the summer Alberto's sailing catamaran is always available for tourist trips to the Milazzo promontory, rich in history and legend. We offer our guests a mini-guide that we have compiled over the years, translated into various languages with indications of the best beaches, places of cultural interest, pages about sweet and savory delicacies to taste, information on the services of our territory , from restaurants to fishmongers, up to the banquet in the fishermen's village, with links, photo information, stories and legends.
A few meters away, the ancient fishing village of the Vaccarella , and the historic center with the main services: restaurants, pizzerias, sandwich bars, bars, shops, pharmacies, supermarkets and bakeries. The port and the hydrofoil ship terminal, for the Aeolian Islands with buses from Messina and Catania airport, are at 600 mt. The Arab-Norman castle and the ancient village, with clubs and pubs, are about 300 meters away. The beaches are very extensive, both in the west and in the east, and can be easily reached on foot. On the promontory of the Milazzo peninsula, about 5 km stretched out on the Tyrrhenian Sea, there are numerous coves, inlets, natural marine pools immersed in the cliffs, (Venus pool) sea caves and breathtaking views. The house is half an hour from Messina by motorway 1 hour from Taormina, about 2 hours from Palermo or Syracuse, 1.5 from Cefalù, ½ from Tindari. Milazzo is a town where the signs and monuments of a past rich in history remain. The large and impregnable Arab-Norman Castle (11th century), the Sanctuary housed in a cave of Sant’Antonio (XII century), the church of San Francesco of Paola , the churches of the XVII century and the Archaeological museum
