Maria was a superb hostess at the hotel - checking us in efficiently, parking our car and getting the bags to the room. She gave us a wonderful overview of the facility and the area. The bar makes an amazing Dolomite martini … absolutely superb!!!!!!

Wonderful time at Villa Gabriela, warmly welcomed into this family’s beautiful home, with amazing meals each night and a delicious breakfast each morning. Good parking, easy access to Val Gardena slopes as well as hiking and cross country options. Quiet away from ortisei by 10 minutes. Particularly excellent job by Luca who answered all my questions and hosted each nights dinner with grace and hospitality beyond his years. I hope to return again in the future, thank you!

Castelrotto is a perfect base in the heart of the Dolomites and a fascinating, beautiful village in its own right. The Alpe di Siusi meadows in summer are unmissable. If you can make the drive up through the Val Gardena above Castelrotto, it is simply spectacular.

Great location to explore most of the dolomites but would recommend hiring a car if you want to venture further out. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel for shorter explorations and lots of local walks. But we wanted to do some hikes that were a little further out (eg the three peaks) and glad we had a car! Restaurants got full in the nearby towns so would recommend booking in advance - one night we had to get a takeaway as we couldn't get in anywhere! But the nearby towns are stunning and would highly recommend as a base for the dolomites in general

small, quiet village, quite picturesque, with just enough stores and restaurants to satisfy local need. Very close to beautiful ski and hiking sites, and also to Bolzano. it was a random choice for us, which proved to be very enjoyable.

Quiet and peaceful village in the Dolomites.
Quiet and peaceful village in the Dolomites. Great place to stay and go visit and drive the Dolomites and do what ever you wan to do there from hiking and biking to taking a gondola to the top of a mountain or just do scenic driving like I did. There is a great pizzeria there and a fun bar with friendly wait staff with great cocktails and most importantly delicious Italian Ice Cream. Great home base for the Dolomites area and surrounding Alps Mountains Passes. I had a beautiful BMW convertible so I did a lot of scenic driving in the area around Castelrotto.

Disclaimer: we visited during the first few weeks after the covid-19 lockdown. This means there was hardly anyone there (good), but most restaurants and hotels were closed (less good).
The village is very pretty, nestled at the end of a valley. It' a great base from which to explore the area. We stayed outside of it, in a smaller village called Tisens, a pleasant half hour hike away, so we enjoyed the view of Castelrotto.
The village has a mix of beautiful traditional buildings and incredible modern ones.
Stunning and aesthetic hotel, designed impeccably. Delicious half board; we looked forward to every meal because it was so good. Great welcome beverage; they made us a non-alcoholic Moscow Mule because we don’t drink and it was yummy. Great location near the town square and a good gelato cafe. They give you a free bus pass, so that you can get around the town and the surrounding destinations. This hotel should be considered an attraction for Castelrotto.
We were upgraded to a comfort room with two balconies and views on both sides of the Dolomites. Location was super convenient to banks, stores for picnic items, and the bus where you can travel quickly to Ortisei or to Seiser Alm. Breakfast was hearty, room was very clean and comfortable; also they have self service laundry capabilities for €7 a load. The hotel is in the center of Old Town so it is pleasant to walk in the evenings.
This was my favorite place on our trip. The facility was amazing. Our room was upgraded by Booking.com. The hotel is run by family and they were great. Gabriela spoke the best English so we depended on her the most. She was so helpful and kind to us. David our server was also great. We looked forward to seeing him at our meals. We opted to have dinner and happy hour at the spa and it was a great value!
The hotel is right in the center of the old town, with easy walking access to groceries, restaurants and shopping. The owners were wonderfully generous with their time making suggestions about local events we would have otherwise missed. The restaurant at the hotel is VERY good, though a little expensive.
Exceptionally friendly staff, that helped us out with all kinds of information. The breakfast and dinner (last of which we booked additionally) were very delicious and well worth their prize. The hotel is situated right in the city center, but the parking is easy to find and really close to the hotel.
Lovely stay at Villa Gabriela. It is a very warm and inviting boutique hotel. Delicious Breakfast and dinner and catered very well to Gluten Free needs. It was in a lovely quiet location but very close to some of the big sights to see. Can't recommend this boutique villa stay more.
We loved everything.
The room, the bed, wonderful.
Beautiful decor everywhere in the hotel. Friendly and caring staff. Relaxing spa and pool.
There is nothing negative. Prices are fair to what you get, especially the charge for half board is cheap for the quality of food your get
We loved this hotel. Peaceful and beautiful location, very good breakfast with delicious croissants and clean and comfortable rooms. What makes it exceptional is the Wellness area. The water in outside Whirlpool is very warm, we spent all the evenings soaking there.
Location was easy to find, and a very short walk takes you to all most important locations in the small and charming town of Castelrotto. Quick and easy check in and check out and the room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained/equipped.
Amazing family run hotel. Feels like home. Everything was just perfect starting with great family running the place with passion and dedication which you can see. Great location, atmosphere, rooms, pools, food ... Thank you!
First, we like the location. The hotel was very nice. The Finnish sauna and pool were lovely after a day of skiing. The service was great! We also enjoyed the breakfasts, but missed out on enjoying their dinners.
Wonderful reception hour in the evening. All the employees were friendly and went above an beyond. Fantastic food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Easy parking right at the hotel.
The house is well-equipped in a quiet location, though the car is needed if you want to go to the nearby Seiser Alm ski area. Unfortunately the owner of the house does not speak any English.
Beautiful compound, includes restaurant. Great view of valley right outside of my patio. Walkaboe to kastelruth. Peaceful, quiet, great shower for 2 or 4. Newly renovated. Clean.
It is a great hotel. Very good location. Apartments are large, well equiped. Sauna and swimming pool perfect after skiing. I can fully recommend this hotel.
