A short walk from the train station. Very attentive and nice staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Exquisite gardens. Cozy onsen in our own bathroom, plus two larger, semi-outdoor onsen pools that connect to the woods in the mountain.

The staff are incredible, patient even with clueless foreigners mucking up tradition unintentionally. The grounds are beautiful. The food is amazing but perhaps not suitable for all palates.
