About this property
Just a 2-minute walk from JR Matsumoto Train Station, Hotel Morschein serves a Western- and Japanese-style breakfast buffet for a fee and has free-use bicycles and a coin launderette. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Parking space is available off site on a first-come-first-served basis. Motorbikes cannot be parked. Decorated in a simple modern style, each room at Morschein Hotel has a wood desk, an LCD TV, a mini-fridge and a trouser press. Slippers, toothbrushes and a hairdryer are provided in the private bathroom. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Matsumoto castle and a 10-minute walk from the Nawate Shopping District. The Nakamachi Shopping District is also a 10-minute walk away. A 30-minute drive will take guests to the Azumino area, which features views of the Northern Japanese Alps. Kamikochi, Kurobe Dam, and Takayama City are all around a 2-hour train ride away. Luggage can be left at the front desk, which also arranges for a surcharge both dry cleaning and fax and photocopying services. A microwave and an ice maker are available free of charge on the 2nd floor. The breakfast buffet is served at Coffee & Restaurant Maie from 07:00-09:00, and features a daily soup. Lunch and dinner are not available.
