Oceanfront dream home with private infinity swimming pool & large tropical garden in the Old Town of Funchal, 200m/5min walk to the city center, beach & restaurants. Such a beautiful home you feel completely surrounded by nature as once inside the house all you can see are tropical palm and banana trees and the never ending ocean. Its extremely romantic and a special place to be with friends and family. Free street parking & high speed internet with desk space. Charming historic 2 bedroom villa w 2 bathrooms, living room & kitchen w unlimited sea views. Fully renovated with stylish interiors for an unforgettable holiday with lots of outside relaxing, sunbathing & dining space with BBQ. Tropical oasis in the city center to enjoy being outdoors and swimming all year. Its also a great base to explore the rest of the Madeira, the hikes and mountain trails are all about 30min-1 hours away maximum so you can easily discover the best of the Island in this tropical paradise in town.

The best location for your madeira holiday set in the heart of the old town of Funchal, a historic neighbourhood with century old houses, traditional homes with friendly locals - yet with the privacy of your 400 square meter seafront garden filled with tropical palm trees and banana trees. The ocean is just in front so you can see all the boats passing by the house. A safe locations, where you can walk to the restaurants, cafes, 3 beaches, funchal market, the marina and main attractions of the city are all within walking distance. Walk to Funchal market for the best local produce and enjoy cooking at home. We also love going for a drink and live music at barreirinha bar cafe. No car needed as you can walk to most places. If you do want to rent a car, you can park it nearby on the street free of charge. The best thing is the amazing location. You are right in the historic, unspoilt old town of Funchal, you can walk to the quaint seaside restaurants, three beaches, to the funchal marina for boat charters and dolphin watching tours. The Funchal market is also 10 minutes walk away as are the great bars and main attractions of the city. Not touristy but friendly with lots of local charm. We love the barreirinha café and the tapas place just 2min walk away. Also very convenient location for the walks and hikes in the mountains of Madeira, as everything is about 30minutes-1 hour drive from the house maximum.
