Excellent location, close to the center - just few minutes walking distance, excellent clean apartment, very well equipped kitchen, great for a family of 4, with garden, jacuzzi, own free parking place, few meters from the sea. it's a small city with good connection to other parts of Slovenian coast; the city center is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants, we enjoyed the cycle paths and cycle roads to Koper and Isola; we prefer to stay in Izola comparing to Portoroz and Koper and it's not so crowdy and everything is close also walking or using bicycleGuest review byJanaSlovakia - 10.0

Izola is a small jewelry box. With narrow streets, the delicious aromas of Mediterranean cuisine can be felt during an evening walk. We can meet very nice people here among the hosts. We ate fantastic food at the restaurants along the coast. You can eat fresh seafood straight from the sea. Lovely cosy seaside town. We enjoyed our stay as there were not many tourists, it is not crowded not even near the sea (not like Portoroz). The beaches are with stones, but that is ok if you have water shoes. You can find all the amenities you need in Izola - shops, market, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery.... It is possile to travel to nearby towns by bus or by boat - Portoroz, Piran, Koper. To Koper is also a nice was from Izola along the sea or it is also possible to rent a bike.Guest review byMiroslava

Unfortunately, it does not have its own parking lot. The best parking lot is about 400m away. Since the parking situation in the whole city of Izola is rather difficult, I found this to be a very good alternative, which was also communicated by the hotel. The breakfast was not luxurious, but still sufficient. The room, on the other hand, was fantastic, very clean and large. The hotel manager was very accommodating and helped us with every question. It has absolutely best location in the very center of the old town close to the sea and also to local market. Despite central location it is super calm and you can also use the terrace / garden. It is fully equipped (highest number of pans ever seen) including other amenities as tasty olive oil, spices etc. The owner is very kind and helpful and very communicative.
