Super rural.
Super rural. In a valley and big mountain views and access to excellent hiking. The locals are very welcoming and friendly. The town is tiny but has excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars. Grocery store and gas stations conveniently located. It has everything you need, and nothing more. Rich history, check out the South Park City open-air museum. You can even go gold panning! Keep an eye out for elk, you might get to see a heard of a few thousand!

Don't miss the South Park City Museum. Try Millonzi's for a good meal. Italian. And you must order the cheesecake for dessert! Drive another 36 miles to Buena Vista and take in the Collegiate Peaks. Awesome!

I was driving cross country and stumbled upon this place. Russ was lovely to work with and let me arrive a few hrs. early for my stay. .. it was like being in heaven for a night. The space in the hotel is very limited so the location choices are few. People took the food back to their rooms. The staff (desk and cleaning staff) were very helpful and pleasant.
