Wonderful in every way! Well equipped and cozy. This is the first place we have visited we definitely want to come back to. Cozy and comfortable. Well equipped. Kitchen had scissors, a first for us! Mark was an exceptional host.

I hear there are some very nice places in the downtown area, too, but for me, it's the view of Mt. Jefferson and the lovely trails surrounding the New River! Owner lady was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good. Cost is 65 dollars but ended up paying 100 dollars last minute. Sheer waste of money for the unleanliness and poor hygiene. Bed was dirty not made after previous guest was rumpled and dirty. Microwave was very dirty and sticky. Breakfast was very scarce just few packets of instant oats coffee hot water milk just a couple of bananas and oranges. Cleanliness should be improved.Gem - 2.0Scored 2.0

This place is a dump, all the doors of the building have been forced, inside the room there's no how to lock the door, locks are missing, heater makes a loud metal griding noise, curtains don't close all the way, pillows and blankets yellowish and very old,bathroom is dirty, towels are extremely old, the mattress belongs in the dumpster. Booking. Com should inspect this places before recommending them to customers because both parties if there's a situation none of them help you out, we paid for 3 nights and only endure one, the employee said we will be refunded, but that didn't happen. And no help from booking. Com which was the one that recommended as this unsafe place.

West Jefferson has lots of restaurants and shops to wander around in. The caboose by the library and just behind the downtown shops was a big hit with our five year old.
