Loved the city scenery! The Harley Davidson Museum and it's grounds were amazing. The Harley Davison Homecoming Festival was really fun. The bars and restaurants on Brady Street were fun and a cool atmosphere. I highly recommend La Masa Empanada restaurant on Brady Street. Great food and drinks! Friendly staff. Milwaukee is wonderfully manageable.
Milwaukee is wonderfully manageable. You can get around easily by car (they also have public transport) and I recommend doing that to seeing the interesting neighborhoods. There are great restaurants, the lakefront, coffee shops, theater and music, a wonderful art museum. We spent time in the Third Ward and headed up to Downer Avenue to the Boswell Book store. Breakfast at Sweet Diner was delicious. Would have liked to tour the Pabst brewery or mansion but neither open. The staff was friendly, you can see, they try their best. we also got a free breakfast from Starbucks and Dunkin. In room was big, comfortable bed, we slept well. The water pressure in the shower was good, there is a heater and air conditioner, but noisy though, also a fridge, and microwave.
