The staff was very friendly, always willing to help, and always smiling. The resort had several amenities that only added to our stay like a private beach access and bikes for use. They had an amazing bar and grill, the BackFlip Bar, that had great food and overlooked the ocean.

Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn, hotel in Fort Lauderdale

The hotel is located ~3 min to the beach (we expected it to be on the beach) which in 90+ weather was a challenge for the kids and old folks as the beach is VERY wide. The breakfast was absolutely awesome! There was something for every age and likes from scrambled eggs to waffles, bacon and sausage, corned beef hash to cereals, yogurt, juices, good coffee, breads and rolls and lots more. The room was a good size and the beds were soooooo comfortable. No trouble falling asleep there. The pillows were comfy and plentiful. Good hotel for the $$ And the staff was very accomodating and pleasant too!

Tranquilo, hotel in Fort Lauderdale

Only 5 minutes' walk from the beach and 6 minutes' drive from The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale shopping mall, this hotel offers accommodations in a central location.

For the first time I didn't like staying in Tranquilo. There were couple of Cubans (or other latinos) who were disturbing everyone with extremely loud latino music for 3 days. Management did nothing to provide peaceful stay to non-latino customers. This is huge discrimination knowing that Florida is not a latino country and that everyone do not want to be forcefully exposed to latino music. (disgusting behavior of latino customers)

I love the area, with the style & ambience of miami a-bit-further south, but without the crowds nor the over-the-top lifestyle --- the number of mid-age & older gay white men to meet ✓all-around broward county, not just in the adjacent wilton-manors & oakland-park areas, is good 😉

The bathroom was dirty. There was mold under the vanity and inside the shower under the soap shelf. The bath tub had black marks on the side. The hot breakfast was the only good thing about our stay.

I was here to embark a cruise. I had one full day free between arrival and departing. I had visited Everglades previously and am not a big fan of beaches, so i found a limited number of things to do. I took a water taxi -spent about 3 hours on it - and enjoyed walking in Los Olas.

Everything was really nice, they could offer a complimentary breakfast like other hotels, not just coffee. And when working in job like motel work staff should be able to understand the customer. I ask a housekeeper a question, she told me she doesn't speak English.Nothing against it we have all races in the US, some English should be understood.

My stay was great! The area was very safe and clean. My room was spacious and clean as well (bed was very comfortable, carpet and sheets were clean too!). The pool was clean as well. Everything is in walking distance, so I was able to walk to the beach, there's a Winn Dixie and Publix grocery store not too far from the hotel and a CVS and Walgreens. The location is not too far from the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park which was $8 via Uber. Everything was in close proximity and convenient! My stay was comfortable and I will definitely come back!

This hotel is perfectly situated along Fort Lauderdale Beach. There are a lot of food options (not many inexpensive) and a lot of things to do. The kids enjoyed bouncing between the 4 pools and hot tub and there were a lot of places to sit outside that were well shaded for those of us who are still sporting our winter white. The family was well laid out, and had a small cook top, microwave, and two mini fridges. There were two separate sleeping spaces one with two queens and the other with a king.

We had an ocean view suite. To get to the beach we had to go down one elevator, walk across a skywalk and the down another elevator, then walk a long path to a beach that was half fenced off for loud construction. The staff was rude, we were in Florida for a long stay with 3 hotels. We checked out early after one night and moved on. I liked nothing about the property. The pool was also a nightmare. Wall to wall screaming pool 1/10th the size needed for this size resort and milky colored water.

Hotel was very clean, breakfast was good, location was fine as we arrived from the airport and headed out to a cruise next day. The area around the hotel itself is a little sketchy in the fact there's a homeless camp close by but other than that it was a 10 minute walk to Las Olas Blvd. They have a neat bar area by the pool on the 5th floor. We went to a neat little restaurant called Here & Now which was only 100 yards from the front entrance, well worth trying Would recommend this place

Best hotel price quality ratio in South Florida. Located at the Beachfront, there are also two swimming pools surrounded by fifty year old Australian pines and many plants. Spacious and comfortable rooms, some with fully equipped kitchens. Excellent breakfast. Family business run by its owners: very kind people, you will feel at home. Close to Sunrise Boulevard (Shopping Mall area) and Las Olas (Nightlife zone). August 2022 was my first time and it won’t be the last!

The property is beautiful & it actually does live up to its name as being a quiet oasis close to the beach. Its about a 25 min walk or 5 min drive to the Fort Lauderdale Beach and 10 min walk to the mall. There’s a lot of little shops walking distance for coffee, etc. The room was very clean & nice. Camila was a great host and attended to any questions or needs and she is very on top of things. It felt like a very safe area, I would definitely stay here again ☺️

Our stay at this hotel was more than we could've asked for! I had the best time with my friends, the staff was great, and it was super close to beach access. We didn't spend a lot of time in the actual room and pool area, but when we did we had to complaints at all! I also love all the plants around the hotel! I think that it really set the mood for being at the beach but not on the beach! Overall, 12/10 experience for my Spring Break in Ft Lauderdale! :)

Honestly, Maren is the best hotel we've ever stayed at in Fort Lauderdale. From location to staff, everything is just amazing. They give you daily free drinks, free stuff and offer yoga classes. The room was big, clean and with a breathtaking ocean view. You leave the hotel and you are literally on the beach. The pool was amazing and not crowded. So worth the price. Superb!

Everything, service is great convenient spot in Fort Lauderdale. Found this place because one night I was out in a bad hotel in Fort Lauderdale and then changed to this one and since then whenever I’m Fort Lauderdale I always book this place. Priced well and Starbucks is a 5 min walk and the beach is less than a 2 min walk.

Old style (1950s) Florida Motel. Clean, with helpful staff. The price was very reasonable considering you are in the Fort Lauderdale Beach area. Ate at a nice little restaurant recommended by the hotel clerk, expensive but good food and service. And the motel and restaurant are in a quaint area with other shops, etc.
