What a beautiful place to relax! The views are amazing and it's very peaceful. The villa we stayed at is spacious with a large terrace. The villas share a pool, located beautifully and so comfortable with great loungers. The restaurant has the same gorgeous view and the food is great.
The great thing is also that they have a gate directly to the Delaire-Graff estate for wine tasting, dinner. They have a fantastic restaurant.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves.
The staff are wonderful.

If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. If you want stunning views and great wine, coffee and food visit Ernie Els Winery.
Laanhof is a beautiful old house, very spacious, with large kitchen and sitting are to share, and with very nice rooms. It did not feel like a hotel or so, rather like being a guest in someones private and gorgous home. Communication with the managers was perfect with fast replies and great flexibility about arrival time. Everything was super clean, the bed comfy, the location perfect. It‘s a really special and beautiful place to stay in Stellenbosch.
The Spier Hotel is an exceptional property set inside the huge heritage Spier Wine Farm. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is top notch. The property is huge and you can spend your entire time just walking around and admiring the gorgeous property and partaking in the many activities within the farm. The team at Spier were kind enough to plan a few small surprises for us as we were on our honeymoon making it an unforgettable stay.
Most incredible hotel from start to finish. The staff are so kind and welcoming. The hotel grounds are presented so beautifully with incredible views. The rooms are very spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast is delicious with lots of personal options. Great location for getting around Stellenbosch! Had the most wonderful time and definitely will be back.
The hotel has the comfiest beds with lovely squishy pillows! There are 2 pools, each one getting the sun at different times of the day. It is located on a lovely quiet street, not far from the main town with all the restaurants/cafes/shops. Staff were so friendly and made us feel at home and there is a resident cat called Caroline!
The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly . Went out of their way to organise a lovely restaurant in stellenbosch and taxi service for us as restaurant in Alluvia closed on the night . Their kindness excelled . Allowed us to sit by the pool after checkout . Was very impressed with all. Well done everybody . 5 *
friendly and welcoming management, and I stayed in a beautiful room (a suite) with quality linen and thoughtful extra touches. The breakfast was average. The guest house is quite far from restuarants but in a beautiful leafy part of stellenbosch. I’ll definitely stay again!
Well located in the center of Stellenbosch. We stayed one night at the self catering apartment a few minutes walk from the hotel. There was a private security guard during the night, even though the neighbourhood seemed very quiet and safe. We could have stayed longer!
This is a really well placed hotel, right in the centre of Stellenbosch. Our room was small, but comfortable. Larger rooms are available. Breakfast was good. Despite being in the middle of town, the room was not noisy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We loved staying at this hotel. It was luxurious and pristine. Very comfortable and close to town, a great central location in Stellenbosch. Hope to stay there again, excellent value for money. One of the best places I’ve stayed in a while.
Incredible location and great rooms. The hotel has a Portuguese feel set in the charm of Stellenbosch Central. The town itself is abuzz from morning to night every single day. Exceptional eateries and coffee shops are everywhere!
This was a gem of a place to find just south of Stellenbosch. I loved the old style layout and ease of safe parking. The complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The rooms are adequate and very comfortable
The hotel has potential to be beautiful with regular upkeep, but that isn't happening. It seems like the bare minimum is being done to get by. I would never ever stay here again - the rooms were disgusting.
Absolutely fabulous hotel, set on a picturesque golf course and wine estate! Super helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location to explore all the different wine farms and not too far from Cape Town.
Everything was amazing. The host is the best. The surrounding views are sooo beautiful. Definitely booking there again when I have to make a spin at Stellenbosch. The place is also close to central.
What a nice hotel in the middle of wine country. View from our room was exceptional. Staff was very warm and the food was excellent. They even had a bottle of their wine in our room.
Our go to place to stay when we visit Stellenbosch! Clean, comfortable, very well equipped self catering accommodation in an excellent location. Friendly, helpful hosts.
The fruit at breakfast as well as the hot breakfasts were very nice. The hotel was ideally located in the heart of Stellenbosch which made it very easy to get around.
