This elegant hotel has recently been upgraded and under new management. Guests have access to a shared lounge area and a front garden with outdoor seating. Breakfast is served in the dinning room.

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The room and the whole hotel were extraordinary. They took my breath away. An advantage is the free parking at the hotel. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to a train station.

Boasting a bar, a children’s playground and a restaurant, Matthew Flinders Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Chadstone Shopping Center. Guests here enjoy free parking.

We had an excellent stay where everything we needed was on hand. Dischwasher, clothes washer and dryer, fabulous kitchen items and the rooms were quiet. It was great having two bedrooms and a separate toilet and Paul, who met us, was excellent in his explanation of everything from the different keys and even walking us to the garage to show us how to access the gates and where we parked our car. Just outstanding service.
