Our stay included tickets to the zoo plus a private tour of the animal sanctuary, and we paid extra for a private night time tour of the zoo. Also, our room looked directly onto kangaroos! Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Circular Quay and had amazing views of the Quay. In the daytime we would have a very pleasant walk around the Quay and along the coastline which led us to Sydney harbour, where we could easily hop onto a boat to visit other places like Manly beach. During the evenings we would visit the many lovely restaurant and bars around the Quay and admire the boats. It’s well worth a visit.

A must is the view from Circular Quay Railway station, its th best free view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Harbour and Opera House. (Local secret if you want an even better view) head towards the Oprah house as you get to the lsat ferry wharf under the Cahill express way you'll see a lift that looks like it goes nowhere, but it takes you up to the Cahill Expressway. from there you'll have 360 degree views of Sydney city, bridge and harbour.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like. Download the public transport app to plan your trip. Oh and the bridge the opera house and if you're lucky one of those massive cruise ships will be in. They are like floating cities, quite a sight. There's usually some street entertainment in the area too.

It’s a bit of walking. Especially if you are going to the opera house as well. So travel light. If you have small kids (or a tired Grandma) take one of those fold up beach trolleys ($75 from Kmart) those things are priceless when lugging kids and stuff around! (And tired Grandmas)

Everything is a stone throw from the Quay view Opera House, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair visit the historical Rocks have a beer in the oldest pubs in Sydney a few claim to be. Macquarie Street is a walk up the road there is an amazing amount of history in this street, the first signs from penal colony to a colony, might be best during the week where you can access some of the buildings. If none of that suits just sit and enjoy the worldof circular key coffee and watching the world go by

Great location opposite Manly beach and right on main Corso. Easy to get there from airport via train to Circular Quay and ferry to Manly. Included brekky was far better than we expected in a hotel accommodation.

Large apartment and good central location close to everything. Virtually next door to Wynyard train station so easy to get most places and only a 5-10 minute walk down to the water at Circular Quay or to Barangaroo. Cost effective accomodation in the middle of Sydney CBD.

The room was quite spacious, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a good size and modern. The hotel was very central for our needs., a short Strole to Darling Harbour and also to Circular Quay. The QVB is only one block away which was great for shopping and a place to have a snack in the many cafes. Town Hall railway station was one block away and even the light rail was easily nearby.

This is a great city hostel close to Museum Station for the train to the airport and LRT to Circular Quay. The staff were lovely; the facilities were good (I loved the rooftop patio area); the toilets and showers were clean; and the bed comfy.

Location here is perfect - in the middle of the harbor, Circular Quay and right by the metro. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We left our luggage after checking out the last day - couldn't have been easier. Second time staying here. This time we stayed on the 4th floor in a studio apartment. Previously we stayed on the 3rd floor in a 1-bedroom apartment which was nicer and quieter. Laundry services are also available here.

Great host, nice apartment, comfy and cozy room. I enjoyed my stay and had a pleasant and quiet time in this apartment. 20 to 40 min drive to Circular Quay (around 70 AUD). Ferry is close by, which takes 1 h 20 min. So many asian restaurants as well.

We had a beautiful one bedroom apartment with a balcony. The location was perfect! The Circular Quay, the botanical gardens, and the Sydney Tower Eye were all just a 10 minute walk away. There is a Woolworths grocery store at 60 Margaret but it is difficult to locate. Take the escalator down two levels.
