This is a beautiful facility in a lovely location. It's located a block away from a small shopping area with a terrific bakery (Silo) which is important since there is no restaurant on premises. The pool and hot tub are gorgeous and sparkling clean, as is the gym. Rooms are well appointed with fridge, and kettle. Staff was always friendly. There's complimentary parking.

At first sight the hotel is quite surprising. It succeeds in combining comfort with aesthetics, modernism with well being. It's unique ! A special mention to the staff, (the cleaning crew and the reception staff). Nice library to rest. I loved it !

    You need a little more than two hours to explore the entire grounds as there is a lot to explore and see! The tour we booked was great as our guide gave further information on the building and history as well - well worth booking ok

    Very interesting.

    Very interesting. One tip: make sure you are dressed properly under your jacket because I was not and flashed everyone around me when security insisted I take off my hoodie, mortifying my daughter but delighting the public.

    We loved this apartment. It was up-market, clean and tidy, with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It has fabulous views over the lake to Parliament House and the mountains. The apartment complex surrounds a very trendy hotel and bar/restaurant and has a cinema on the ground floor. There are lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby.

    The bedroom light, airy, bed and linen were so comfortable and luxurious. Location in Barton was central, close to Manuka shops. The Cocktail Bar on Level 7 was fabulous. Great cocktails, sunset and views. View of Parliament House (limited from room) but great to look at from balcony plus sunset spectacular. Love being able to get some fresh air. Bathroom fabulous and great design. Lovely restaurants at Hotel Realm across the street too. Will always come back. Third time at The Burbury.

    We stayed in a non renovated but spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on the 10th floor. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Kitchen had all the necessary cooking equipment and it was great to have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. We had a large balcony with an amazing view of Parliament House and the lake but not it was not clean so we didn't use the outdoor space at all.
