Our stay included tickets to the zoo plus a private tour of the animal sanctuary, and we paid extra for a private night time tour of the zoo. Also, our room looked directly onto kangaroos! Highly recommend!

Despite of a couple of minor issues with my original room and then some paint smells on the floor I was moved to these became inconsequential because of the incredible care and respect of the staff. They handled my complaints with the utmost concern and their attention to me during the 3 nights I was there was amazing. There is no other hotel chain in the world that maintains such a high standard of customer care.

Flack Studio decor makes the whole place feel special. Food at Loam was great for dinner; breakfast was lovely but didn't always taste as good as it looked. The rooms were great, very liveable. Location is a very convenient walk to Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, and CBD. We liked having the choice between the cafe and Loam in the morning, especially when we were in a hurry. Rooms were extremely quiet, especially for a "trendy" hotel and the Ace brand.

Sydney Harbor

Where better to see the Sydney sights than from the water? Hop on a harbor ferry to get a whole new angle on the city’s iconic shoreline. The 20-minute trip from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour is a shortcut to close-up views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and the historic Manly Ferry cruises out to the stylish northern suburbs.

So many places to go to by ferry which run very frequently.

So many places to go to by ferry which run very frequently. If you are fortunate to be a pensioner you can travel all day for only $2.50 on trains, buses, ferries and light rail as well. You can even go to the Blue Mountains too for that cost.

Beautiful - Try late night cruise on an ordinary and cheap public ferry. It will take you around the harbour multiple stops and return you back to your starting point. Great sight-seeing at a fraction of the cost of touristic setups. And if any place takes your fancy jump off and rejoin the ferry later.

MY tip is: GO to Sydney Harbour!

MY tip is: GO to Sydney Harbour! It is beautiful and friendly and all the ferries coming and going are so delightful to watch and ride! We have been to Sydney 3 times (from USA) and we always have a great time! If you can, climb to top of bridge - and it was a climb for me (55years old) with my 21 year old and we both loved it! (one more step and I wouldn't have made it but there was not one more step!!)

The location was GREAT! Very easy access to public transportation., and you are only a couple of stops from Circular Quay, where Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge are located. You are surrounded by great restaurants and we ate a different cuisine every night. The restaurant served a great traditional breakfast. We were super happy with our experience.

Great location in The Rocks and close to the central business district, public transportation, and Sydney harbor. This was my first time staying at a hostel, and I booked a room to myself. The room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar was great for relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised by the food at the downstairs cafe and rooftop bar. I was also able to leave my luggage in the free and locked luggage room due to arriving before check-in.

It was the worst stay of my life. The check in process took forever , got the room with two beds of different sizes. The shower was a square ,can't even move the body properly to clean up. I can keep going , please please please I won't recommend anyone to book the ibis at Sydney harbor.
