Our stay included tickets to the zoo plus a private tour of the animal sanctuary, and we paid extra for a private night time tour of the zoo. Also, our room looked directly onto kangaroos! Highly recommend!

We did an Australia/New Zealand cruise in 2023 and we can honestly say that the Botanical gardens were the highlight of our trip. We visited them before and after our cruise. Then after we completed a 2 week drive up the Gold Coast, we visited again. The gardens are in such a beautiful location next to the sea with fabulous views of Sydney bridge and opera house and very relaxing to walk around.

The Royal Botanical Gardens are worth a visit.

The Royal Botanical Gardens are worth a visit. Especially if you like to observe birds. Lots of Cockatoos, Lorikeets, Ibis, Kookaburras and other interesting species. In the evening, we saw a large Owl. We loved the succulent garden, the ferns, herbs... Nice to walk through this park towards the harbor.
