The hotel is conveniently located, right beside a subway station (National Museum) on Line 8. It is also on the Wang fu jing street so you can walk to the main Wang fu jing area. We enjoyed walking on the street a lot, it has many cultural buildings and even a Catholic Church (1 out of 4 in Beijing). The hotel lobby smells really welcoming (sadly they don't sell the diffuser). They have an indoor pool and gym. The rooms have recently been renovated and it is tastefully furnished. I love the layout of the room and the furnishing. I took a few pictures in the room and my friends have commented that the room looks expensive. The service provided is also great. Anytime we needed anything, they were quick to deliver. We stayed here for 11 nights and had a wonderful stay overall!

The staff were AMAZING! They spoke excellent English and were super helpful. They arranged my transport and showed me everywhere I needed to go and also gave great recommendations. The rooms were nice and clean, location is very ideal. The highlight of my stay were the three lovely ladies at reception who went above and beyond to make my trip incredible.

    You need a ticket to enter the square.

    You need a ticket to enter the square. Tickets are free, but you have to reserve your ticket a day in advance - I think we did this via WeChat. Security is very tight. Try to get there to see the flag raising or lowering ceremony - the lowering was at about 17:15 early in November (I don't know if the time changes throughout the year)

    Week or more (I was told by my hotel) advance ticket necessary to go there. Security blocks off whole area starting across wide street, sidewalk across road blocked too. Without access ticket one can't get close enough to see anything. Long queues--didn't see any special access for old, handicapped etc--there must be some somewhere but I saw none. Glad I had been there years before cuz it's not worth the effort now (May 2023).

    Excellent quality and choice of foods at the breakfasts. Excellent location, right in the city center at beginning of the popular part of Wangfujing street, Tiananmen square and the Forbidden City are in walking distance. The Hotel has a decent gym, with surprisingly good weight lifting machines.

    Location is great! There is subway station right outside of the hotel, really convenient and easy to go anywhere. Breakfast are all around the hotel, there is Mr. Lee, good breakfast just across the street from hotel. There is no coin laundry available, even if Baidu says there is one around the hotel, it's dry clean and the owner wasn't that friendly. Tiananmen Square and forbidden city are close by. On the opposite side, there is popular shopping spot.

    Located right outside Qianmen subway station, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience. Surrounded by plenty of eateries and souvenir shops, it’s also within walking distance to Tiananmen Square. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeper was responsive to adhoc requests like extra bath towels. If you choose a room with a view, you’ll be treated to a beautiful sight of Zhengyang Gate (正阳门). A great base for exploring Beijing with no shortage of food options nearby. A vibrant place to stay and be soaked in the vibes.

    Good hotel if you dont want to blow your budget. Front desk very helpful. Free laundry was great. Free snacks and coffee were great. Food at the restaurant downstairs was great. Close to subway and Railway station, couple of stops to Tiananmen square etc. its down a hutong but felt very safe even late at night. Older but very clean hotel. Big courtyard to hang out and have coffee/beer. All in all very satisfied for what i paid.

    Excellent location. Very close to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Metro station was just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Just 3 minutes walk to the Wangfujing pedestrian Street.
