Paula from reception was so welcoming and helpful. She just did everything to accommodate for everything. I had a lovely room with city and sea view. The hotel even provides fruit, coffee water and a cake in the room. The small swimming pool is an oasis of silence

The most exclusive location in town. The hotel is steeped in history but filled with modern day amenities. We had a lovely view to the sea and a balcony. The shower gel and toiletries were very nice and the shower water pressure and fixtures were top of the line! Great bathroom and great toilet paper :-) The breakfast was top of the line and the food and service at the breakfast salon and at the lounge was also great. Good job! The best and most important feature of this hotel is that ALL the staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. Everyone seemed as if they were enjoying their work and were happy to assist. I don't know if this is a Cantabrian quality of all the people in that city or simply the best training, but surely the staff at this hotel are the nicest and friendliest people in all of Spain. Congratulations. I would stay here again, only for the service.

Breakfast was super and the staff were really helpful. Location was perfect - right by the beach and a short taxi ride from the old town centre.

The Abba Santander can be found in the center of Santander just 100 yards from the train station and ferry port. There is a 24-hour front desk and tourist information can be provided.
