Very smooth from booking, arriving about 1 minute later and the check in ... 2 mins to get into St Pancras early the following morning ... a lovely sleep, v comfortable ... thanks

Located in an amazing Brutalist building, the Standard should be on any fan of design's list for places to stay in London. Great location, just across the street from King's Cross / St. Pancras station, you have access to the many lines of London. The restaurant lounge and the roof top bar are both fantastic spaces for food / drink options.

I was upgraded to a suite and it was fantastic. Drinks in the cocktail bar were delicious. All staff were lovely.

Duty manager was exceptionally helpful is sorting out a double booking problem - thank you!

Coffee and drinks provided ad the lobby . Even though the room is quite tight, but it's clean. Love it.

“The location was excellent. Having the metro, bus, and taxi right in front of the hotel made it very easy to get around the city. With a pleasant 25-minute walk, we could also reach some wonderful parks. We had breakfast included, and it was quite good — a great way to start the day with enough energy. The hotel is also very suitable for families with a baby. We were very satisfied with our stay.”

The receptionist, Amanda was exceptional. We arrived after having our train to Paris cancelled. She put us at ease and got us a room early. Always smiling! We would come back to the hotel because of her!! She is a wonderful representative if your Hotel!!!!

So close to the station. Downstairs room excellent for disability.

The station and subway is 2 minutes away. Many pubs and restaurants around it. Tempreture in the room was perfect.

The hotel is nice and well placed. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its my second time in this hotel and I'm not disappointed.

I liked how easy the check in process was with digital codes. I liked how comfortable my room was. The location is perfect for visiting the city and close to great transport. My room was also very clean

We had a fantastic stay, unfortunately only had one night but we would without doubt stay again when visiting London. Location is great, staff were so lovely from the moment we checked in. We were able to leave our luggage securely prior to check in which was handy. Our en suite room was extremely clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was very good. I also believe the nightly rate was very reasonable when compared to other hotels in same location.

What wonderful little gem. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful. From sorting out the parking to advising on the congestion charge. Every member of staff we met despite the time were friendly and polite. The rooms are super clean with 4* amenities. All the little touches from the filter tap and the complimentary mini bar didn’t go unnoticed. We had a great night sleep and will definitely be back!

This place is so well designed for an old building. We stayed in a 'small double' which had everything we needed: hooks to hang our jackets, under bed roll out caddies for our suitcases, ample wall mounted clothes shelves, designated clothes hanging space and a desk with two chairs. The toilet was separate from the shower which is really helpful when there's two of you and the lighting is plentiful with great reading light over the bed. We appreciated the fan which kept the room cool. It's in a great location, the staff are delightful, as is the open air courtyard to sit for a drink. Would definitely come back
