one thing people need to be awear of is taking taxi at night around Central. Many dirty taxi cab are ripping people off money. Like from Central to Sheung Wan which is cost HKD$24, some of the dirty cab driver would ask for $150-$200. When you have this problem, just get off the cab and ask for help from Cops. Plus, don’t go to some restaurants without a price on the food menu. People like to jet up the price. Especially in Lan Kwai Fong.
The average price of a beer at the bar is 100hk dollar, which is about what we pay for a beer in Europe. Most of the local people hang out on the street and get their beer from the local 7/11 convenient store about 100 meters away. A beer cost about 20 hk dollar. What I like about Lan Kwai Fong is that it can host both luxuric and budget For local eatery, I would like to recommend tsui wah restaurant.
Great for one night, and for a certain... younger... louder... European student crowd. But for anyone a bit older, or a taste for the more sophisticated location, Lan Kwai Fong is best giggled at from a distance.
If you love to party then you can't miss Lan Kwai Fong (LKF). Lots of foods joint, pubs, disc, lounges. All sorts of music drinks and open till early morning 3.00am. Friday and Saturday night is a must go place.
There are literally hundreds of bars/restaurants in this place on many steep streets and many do not open until 6pm. Check online before making the trek. Lily and Bloom was a good one, but we went too early to fully enjoy.
Been going there for years but this time i would recommend you to avoid Hard Rock Cafe if you are Asian as the service crew there has double standard even those in the store, they only talk and smile if you are Caucasian so you wouldnt want to pay to get upsad but the bouncers outside are friendly.

Location, location, location. There were lots of shopping and F&B near the hotel, including ones we frequent when we are in HK. The hotel is about a block away from the mid-levels escalator. If you are the party type, it's also a few blocks away from the bustling Lan Kwai Fong. The free mobile wifi was a great touch. We appreciate them having prepared our son's baby cot before arriving. The bed was comfortable and the décor of the bathroom was quaint.

Great location and value for money, right next to Soho, Lan kwai fong, very near IFC mall for airport express and near the ferry port. Very large rooms for Hong Kong, stayed for three nights and felt very comfortable and relaxed the whole time I was there, would definitely stay here again next time in Hong Kong.

Great location, funky hotel in the heart of the Lan Kwai Fong area and close to Soho with lots of cool bars and restaurants close by. Room was a good size, nice and clean. Great overhead rain shower. Nice touch to have a free mini bar!
