Our experience was exceptional. The staff was super helpful and made us feel like home. The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel itself is beautiful. Our room had direct access to the pool which was a plus. One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed.

- Reception ( Bella and Ayu ) were more than perfect for welcoming us at Merak village , smiley , polite, and they were explaining for us everything at the hotel and were ready to answer any question and ready to help. - Room was just amazing , they clean 2 times, and has a nice view and the sound of the river let you really feel in the heaven. - Housekeeping, ( Dewa, wili & Adi ) were ready to assist us and always they keep our room clean. - Restaurant, All staffs were smiley and they great us warmly every morning when we come to our breakfast. And have nice hospitality. - Over all the Merak Village for sure on our list for our next coming to Ubud and I highly recommend it. - Finally, thanks for every one there for an amazing hospitality that let us feel at our second home. Keep going for the great job you have done and Douple thumps up for all team.

A beautiful and comfortable place to spend several days in Ubud. The room was perfect, clean with all necessities you need and with a stunning view to the pool. Service is perfect and the personell of the hotel is so attentive. This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Monkey Forest. Also, it’s surrounded by many fancy restaurants and souvenir shops. Nice place to relax.

Superb museum in lovely grounds and entry includes a free coffee. A lovely mix of traditional and modern Balinese art with some stunning works. The large painting of rice fields is the most exciting art work we have seen in ages. N.B. The museum also has a large gallery 5 minutes away by Grab taxi. Or it is a few minutes walk from the Paliatan Royal Palace, which you could visit on the same day. The gallery is much bigger than it looks from the road with five or six rooms. Both are excellent

This place is unique.

This place is unique. Incredible pieces of art (paintings and pictures) shown in a garden where everything else look superfluous. The owner is a gentlemen that made me feeling as a favourite guest of his ancient family. A must to do in Ubud
