    Lots of construction work impacting on the village...

    Lots of construction work impacting on the village atmosphere. Isolated from the busier parts of Nusa Penida. The reality did not match the idea picture created. It was not a relaxing environment. Not great for a stay…good for a visit.

    Wear sneakers, not flip flops.

    Wear sneakers, not flip flops. Get there about an hour or more before sunset. We were adventurous and went down the thousand mismatched carved steps knowing we had to walk back up. There are another thousand steep steps to the right that will take you down the cliff to the beach. We did not do that. My friends flip flop ripped halfway down and she had to be innovative on her way up. Sunset was gorgeous.

    very very busy, was it worth the trip ? maybe - I will let you decide - watch out for the monkeys trying to steal your belongings !! long drive to this point roads very un-even sometimes even dangerous when on a scooter, taxi drivers don’t stop or let you pass they drive too fast when near to the scooters making it difficult for us on scooters, roads bumpy, uneven and full of pot holes

    Great views & loads of warungs.

    Great views & loads of warungs. If you want to get down to the beach make sure that you have plenty of fluids, strong legs and a good sun hat. It’s a long way down and even further coming back up. Many people looked on the verge of collapse from the struggle back up the stairs.

    I really enjoyed my stay at Mesari Villa and Spa. It is pretty conveniently located, walking distance to Kelingking Beach. It is an oasis in the area. It’s a small hotel, but the facilities and rooms are pretty clean and comfortable. But what I liked the most was the service. Felix and Riswanda were on top of everything. They provided me with guidance and help scheduling tours and transportation. I really recommend their services.

    We had a great stay at The Kelingking Bungalows. The rooms we well appointed and comfortable. The pools were delightfully. Walking distance to Kelingking Beach and amazing views. Recommend the hotel if you want a remote location.

    The hotel is in a great location, just a short distance from Kelingking Beach, making it very convenient for visiting one of the island’s most iconic spots. The pool was large, clean, and beautifully designed — a lovely place to unwind. The staff were very helpful and offered to arrange a private taxi if we wanted to explore the island with a local driver. They also gave us the option to be picked up directly from the harbor, which made our arrival much smoother.

    I had a great stay at this hotel! It’s very close to Kelingking Beach, which makes it super convenient to visit one of the most beautiful spots on the island. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the breakfast and our stay! Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

    Remote location near Kelingking beach. A small convenience store near by accommodation as well. The owner was super helpful with booking transportation as well as a snorkeling tour. He helped us find good eating spots as well as where to exchange money in the remote area of the island. Very grateful for his hospitality and friendliness.

    We booked online so we didn't know the area. We knew we wanted to be close to Kelingking beach. The drive was about 35 minutes from the port. But the hotel is an oasis. We were greeted by Adi with welcome juices and the place was spotless. The bungalows were cute and clean, great shower heads and pressure! Adi drove us back from climbing all over the beach during sunset to the restaurant in front of the hotel. Best fried rice we've ever had. Some had it for breakfast again. Both pools were refreshing and clear.

    Few 500meter walk from Kelingking beach. The beach is rather a viewpoint. Beach is an hour trekking down and not allowed to swim(giant waves and strong curls). The staff are super friendly, they have organized everything from speed boat ticket from/to Bali-Penida. Taxi pickup, snorkeling, Penida island tour. Rooms are brand new, recently built. Hotel area has its vibe with the lighted pool. Super staisfied. There are few restaurants nearby so it is better to eat at Hotel’s restaurant. Dishes were great but limited choices.
