The location was unbelievable! Truly felt like an undiscovered gem. The facilities were clean and beautifully appointed with attention to detail. And the food was simple and delicious. Beautiful hikes across mountains right from the town.

A charming spot in a spectacular location-- the room was exactly what you hope to find in a spot like Rocca Calascio. It was built into the rocks of the mountain almost like a cave, and captured all of the rustic magic of this mountain village. While it was not fancy, it had everything we needed-- it was clean, cool, and comfortable. The linens were lovely, and the breakfast was wonderful, with homemade breads.

This is a spotless and spacious room that is actually in a castle tower. It is very quaint and yet still fully functional for an overnight stay. Claudia helped us so much in finding the place and making us comfortable. We came in January and most things were closed, yet she was able to get her friend to open his restaurant and serve us dinner. Where can you get such exceptional service as this? Our stay here was truly memorable.
