comfortable beds, free ramen at night, ice cream, green tea. 5 onsens to choose from which were all fabulous. Yukata hire to wear around the ryokan. The staff were all amazing, helpful and always with a smile.

The overall service at Yado is outstanding. We had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and prepared for us with detail und care, a once in a lifetime experience. During our stay we had some personal complications and the staff helped us beyond their requirements to resolve our problem. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

    It's a bridge.

    It's a bridge. But, if you're lucky, you might snap a photo of a white heron (the nickname of Himeji Castle) there. You should also ride do a rickshaw tour. It's pricey, but it's a human pulling your fat arse around ... it's totally worth every cent!
