Very nice staff and the best hotel that I have stayed in in Malaysia. It is a nice room and a very nice hotel. I have stayed in hotels with higher room prices that were not as good as this one.

The location was super convenient. It was 5 minutes walk from the ferry port, and around 15 minutes walk to the center of downtown. Super pretty neighborhood. The staff was really nice too. We even asked the kitchen to help cut 2 mangos that we bought, and they cut it up and boxed it. We were super grateful for that and ate it on our train back.

Lovely property , lovingly and tastefully restored. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Room was well appointed and housekeeping excellent. Gorgeous well regarded Italian restaurant on site and surrounding area full of good places to eat. Highly recommended

The style of the outside of the Hotel was welcoming. On entering, it had a clean stylish interior. Very tastefully decorated and sympathetically decorated to the style of the colonial period. The whole place had a beautiful dreamy atmosphere about it. The Staff in every area of the hotel delivered Outstanding Customer Service. They were helpful and eager to help without being overbearing . The outside eating area remained me of being by the pool area, with three or four areas where you could draw the beautiful coordinating curtains for privacy. I did not use the swimming pool myself, but was told the temperature was just right. The breakfast offer was just right to set you up for the day because all around were great places for you to eat other things you might like.

    We really liked this lovely small hotel for how comfortable it was, how attractive it was, and the unbelievably nice staff. The location is excellent- close to Prangin Mall, where it's easy to get busses to just about anywhere on the island and onward travel. Wonderful restaurants abound within five minutes walk, and of course the Kimberly Street food stalls are close by. We had breakfast on the roof a couple times, and it was really quite good. I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Penang.

    It is within walking distance from the old part of Georgetown, also lots of delicious street food around. Across the road is the The Hin Bus Station where all the arty-farty stuff is there. Beside it also near to Komtar, 1 Avenue and Prangin mall. So there is lots of choice and lots to do around the hotel.
