The setting in the coastal rainforest is lovely. My room looked directly into a dense forest which was very unique. Nicely decorated wood accents in room, very comfortable seating area for two in room and on deck. Excellent shower. Dinner and breakfast were very good quality.

    High Peaks is in a good position just outside the small town of Fox Glacier, and is easy to find. My contact with staff was very limited, but everyone was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was excellent.

    We enjoyed our trip to Fox Glacier hugely. Trish and Colin are amazing hosts and they will did everything to make our stay enjoyable! Their home is close to everything, they provide a lot of helpful info about activities and they seem to know exactly what is everyone's fitness ability!. Breakfasts are wonderful, beds are comfortable, we rested well and marvelled at the glacier walks and magical forests trails! Colin's wood carving talents are something else, please look at his wood real art works! We hope to return to Ropatinis!

    Convenient hostel located at Fox Glacier with a large communal kitchen and hang out common area. WiFi is excellent. There is an area with individual showers (nice showers) and an area with individual toilets. There is an outdoor hot tub. We parked on the street in front which was convenient.
