This was the most darling cottage in the most picturesque setting. Our host, Angus, was very friendly and accommodating. We loved going to the grotto on the property to see the glow worms. We had a person in a wheelchair and getting to the cottage was not difficult despite there being a couple stairs. Thank you Angus for opening up your property for others to enjoy its beauty! - The Smiths

We liked everything about this place. Paula has set it up with just about everything you could need. The refrigerator and pantry had plenty of goodies. The cottage has a washing machine and dishwasher. It was great watching all the activities on the dairy farm, and we really enjoyed the tour of the property that Steve gave us. It was so nice we wanted to cancel our stay in Auckland and stay here a few more days. Alas, the cottage was already booked.

The couple who host this place, Dicky and Herman are wonderful! Very gracious hosts, helpful and polite. The place is fantastic. Easy to get to and very modern and comfortable. The views from the back patio are amazing and it’s a wonderful area to just relax. We spent a good three hours there, watching the sun set. A continental breakfast is included and it was great. The facilities were great. Absolutely will rebook when we pass this way again.
