Beautiful location and comfortable beds.

We wanted to experience a farm stay during our trip and nadarra gave us just that. We had chicken, sheep, cow and a rolling landscape all in one stay, and including 2 lovely children.

The view was incredible, the hospitality delightful, the cabin quite cozy.

Peaceful Rural Atmosphere: The cottage is located in a quiet countryside setting, providing a calm and relaxing environment just a short drive from the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and other local highlights. Spacious and Practical Accommodation: The house offers generous space, a full kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, well-suited for both short and extended stays. Excellent Breakfast Provisions: The complimentary breakfast items provided were very good, adding a thoughtful and appreciated touch to the stay. Well-Stocked Essentials: The cottage includes a helpful selection of first-aid and personal care supplies—such as cotton pads, cotton swabs, and some basic medications—showing impressive attention to guest needs. Rare Convenience – Two Luggage Racks: Unlike most accommodations we experienced throughout New Zealand, this cottage had two luggage racks, which makes complete sense for a space meant for two people. A small detail, but greatly appreciated. Good Value for Money: Compared to other accommodations in the Waitomo area, Crinkly Cottage offers competitive pricing with plenty of space and basic comforts.

We liked everything about our stay at B & B at Whitbourne. The location was rural with lovely views from every window. The bed was very comfortable, we had a lovely big bathroom to ourselves with shower and bath. Breakfast was continental with fruit, yogurt, juice and toast all self service in our room. We are staying there again on our way back to Auckland tomorrow.

Easy to access. Quiet. Well stocked. Very pleasant hostess.
