Very good location and clean room. Staff is nice and polite when we attach to him. Message through call and email very responsive. Free car park for us. Super duper thumbs up

Shuttle picked us up at the airport. Staff was so friendly. Loved our stay there. It was only one night and was very convenient to our campervan rental the next day.

We arrived abit later then expected (after closing time) but was absolutely relieved with the after hours care and privacy. great stay, love the setup and uber'ed dinner straight to our door 😍

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and exceptionally responsive to the guest needs. I had a minor request with the room that was immediately sorted out with no problem. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is well appointed with heated flooring. Everything looks new apart from the obvious features of the old Officers Mess that give the place character. Some issues with the food quality and consistency in the cafe/restaurant initially. They were going through a change of cooking staff during my stay so either the current chef didn't care/wasn't up to scratch, or they knew it was a problem and sorted it out with the change. They took note of the issues and fixed them so it was obvious that the management cared about the details and looked for improvement. By the end of my stay the food had improved and a new menu was in transition. I can't recommend the hotel enough. Management and front of house staff are top notch. I will be staying there again next time I am in Christchurch for sure.
