The owner is a great guy and the history of the building is amazing. It was owned by his grandmother and he has made it a welcoming space for travellers in her name. There is a generosity felt within the welcome of the space itself and noted with the free gifts, a glass of wine, a coffee, ice dispenser, free washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful map of The Fisherman's Walk, great selection of books and letters displayed from guests. Everything was very clean.

Just a 19-minute walk from Praia do Cavaleiro and 0.8 miles from Sardao Cape, Casa da Courela features accommodations in Cavaleiro with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a terrace.

Beautiful modern villa in a quiet area close to the sea, with a well-kept garden and lovely pool. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, and the homemade breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. Obrigado, we’ll be back!
