Excellent service and will recommend this place to anyone visiting Boulder City. We arrived late and the reception lady offered complimentary late checkout. Also, we are able to use laundry service and restaurant downstairs offers good meal options.

Very comfortable room and nice facilities. Great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Coming for a work trip and not into the gambling and craziness of Vegas, this hotel was close enough to Vegas for work meetings, but a nice relaxing atmosphere outside of Vegas.

    Walking the dam itself is a great experience, but the photo opportunities on the Arizona side are worth a few minutes' drive. An interesting point of reference for Hoover Dam is accessed by driving across the dam and parking at one of the highest lots on the Arizona side.

    Its nice early morning because not crowded, almost all to yourself. Do NOT pay for the garage unless you are rich or disabled. Drive ACROSS the dam and up the hill - free parking at hilltop across the AZ state border with ncie views. Don't let Nevada rip you off! There used to be a lovely red rock view road continuing east of the Dam road but now our wonderful govt has closed it off with barriers so you cannot enjoy it. Your tax dollars at work for less and less service!

    The size of this dam is amazing.

    The size of this dam is amazing. Right now, the tours are closed, but highly recommended once they restart. You can get excellent views of the dam and Lake Meade from the new bypass bridge, which has access for foot traffic. But, it can be VERY windy. I mean like "pull your cell phone out of your hand" windy. Still, I highly recommend the walk. However, you cannot see the dam or lake from the bridge if you are driving over the bridge. The wind barriers are too high.

    Great location, if you are in the area there is a fantastic bbq walking distance from the hotel. Centrally located to Hoover dam and if you plan on kayaking. Super clean, front desk assistant was helpful and super hospitable, I forgot to get her name but she is truly a gem.

    Great spot to stay in Boulder City. Center of the city. Great breakfast at 1933 restaurant in the hotel. If you are going to the Hoover dam be sure to stop by Hemingway park before you go. It's not far and the big horn sheep are out in the morning.the last photo is from Cornish Pasty across the street from the hotel. Very filling and delicious, open until 10pm if you are getting in late and you're hungry. This is the chicken pot pie pasty.

    Loved the historic aura of this hotel. The free Boulder City/Hoover Dam museum was a pleasant surprise, definitely worth doing! Room was comfortable and the location was fantastic in the charming historic little town of Boulder City. Very close to the Hoover Dam and easy drive to the Vegas airport. Don’t miss the Bighorn sheep against the beautiful mountainous backdrop of Lake Mead at Hemenway Park, a 5 minute drive away.

    Convenient - we flew into Vegas and planned to see the Hoover Dam the next day. Hotel was the perfect overnight location. Very reasonably priced as hotels SHOULD be. (Other places have lost their minds, IMO.) Also, there was a trailhead behind the lodge.

    We wanted to stay close to the Hoover Dam and this hotel was 5 minutes away. Perfect location. The staff were fabulous and apologetic about items that were broken and the closed cafe.

    Well, if I was traveling to Vegas I’d stay in Vegas. But for a restful night on a cross-country drive I was glad to discover Boulder City. No neon, no noise and no casinos. It’s near beautiful Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. The hotel’s restaurant was good for a decent light supper and a glass of excellent local craft beer, and there are a couple of other food options within an easy walk. Everyone I met here was exceptionally friendly - I experienced true hospitality.

    Hoover Dam Lodge is our new favorite hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The Bighorn Café serves great food at reasonable prices and they are very accommodating about early checkin and/or late checkout if the room is available for it. Love the General Store for any sundries and necessities. Bar service is available 24/7, with complimentary drinks when gambling Also awesome views from most rooms. Highly recommend.
