Massive sized room with great features. Lovely staff and location was superb for the national Mall and the boat docks too.

Location was perfect for walking to the monuments and museums. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Liked having bottled water and slippers in my room.

Location was exceptional! The staff were amazing and were so helpful. We also got a credit to use every day and that was an unexpected bonus! Our room was very spacious and we had a great view!

Proximity to everything.. and very clean!

Perfect location - nearby George Washington University, many restaurants and cafes around, bus station and metro in 5 minutes. Cozy and huge room.

It’s an old property, but well conserved and every thing was excellent: cleanness, furniture disposal, staff, meals, etc.

Perfect place to stay in Washington, location is great, the appartment is very spacious and clean.

The room was excellent and quiet! We especially enjoyed the very creative shower! We never experienced one like it and enjoyed every minute of it!

Excellent location and comfortable

Amazing view! Especially if you have water side room. Location is amazing, everything is near, there is parking and all the amenities you might need.

Great location, accessible by metro, close to the Smithsonian, the mall, and the wharf. The gym is also really good, the pool is fun, and the beds feel luxurious to sleep in.

I have stayed several times at citizenM NoMa and decided it was time to try citizenM Capitol. I continue to have the same positive impression of the brand. It is an especially suitable hotel for solo travelers who value practicality, efficiency, and technology. The check-in and check-out processes are extremely fast and intuitive, and one aspect I particularly appreciate is that there is no credit card hold required. The staff is efficient, professional, and helpful. Another highlight is the room lighting system, which is very well designed, with ambient lighting options and even customizable colored lights that make the space more comfortable and pleasant in the evening. The room is compact, as expected from the brand’s concept, but very well planned and functional. I am always especially impressed by the safe and the large storage drawer under the bed, which provide excellent space for stuff. The location is phenomenal. The hotel is within walking distance of the National Mall, several Smithsonian museums, the Museum of the Bible, The Wharf waterfront area, and the U.S. Capitol. The L’Enfant Plaza Metro station is also right nearby, making it very easy to move around the city. Overall, it is hard to find a more convenient base for exploring DC. Overall, I consider citizenM an excellent choice for short or medium solo stays, offering a very good balance between technology, comfort, efficiency, and location.

The room was ready upon our arrival. The receptionist explain the pet policy. The room was very clean. We had a n excellent breakfast. I wish they had more veriaty of fresh fruit and pastries. Their coffee was great. My pets were very comfortable and there are several areas around the hotel where I was able to walk my dog. The hotel is located in a great spot. It is about 10 min walk to all museums.

Great historic hotel, remodel is lovely, elegant architecture, terrific location, wonderful staff -- folks who have been there for ages and love the hotel and its history. They were delighted to share information on the hotel. Effective, efficient service. Excellent breakfast. Love the carpets, furniture, mixture of gorgeous old lamps, marble and updated upholstery. Terrific paintings. Elegant guests. Well dressed, well mannered, choir singing Christmas carols in the lobby. Gorgeous Christmas decorations. BRAVO!!!

The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable.
