How do I begin to write a review about a hotel that checked every box ✔️ For starters, the staff went out of their way to make us feel as though we were family, not just guests. From the moment we stepped out of the car on arrival until we departed for our Hạ Long bay cruise they were constantly ensuring that we were well cared for. They remembered our names and made sure that our son felt comfortable and was well fed. Some of the highlights for us were They packed us snacks and water for our trip to Hạ Long bay, The rooms are wonderful, you have everything you need. Plenty of storage a great bathtub and the most incredible shower. All that was missing was bubble bath. 🫧 the beds are very comfortable and I felt well rested, the king size bed is in fact big enough for 2 adults and a child to share. There are both slippers and robes in the closets. We also took advantage of the laundry service, this was very inexpensive and well worth asking about. This boutique hotel is a must stay in the old quarter. You will be beyond impressed, and will reccomend to all your friends and family. ✨️Special thanks to all the amazing staff including Hannah and Eddy and many others, who made our stay incredible. ✨️

The Pearl. Dec 30, 31 2022 and Jan 01, 02 2023 - 4 nights, room 801. Check-in very smooth. We had to wait for the room but that s ok i prefer that way so the room will be clean and in perfect conditions. Beautiful large room with nice wood furniture and a wall-to-wall window, but not overlooking the Hoan Kiem Lake. Great sitting area by the window to enjoy coffee and pastries with super sweet fresh strawberries. Very friendly, polite, helpful personnel at all levels from concierge to breakfast room to bar and front desk, Etc. Bathrobe's sleeves 20 cm too short,  Bathrobe's length 35 cm too short, please provide bathrobes suitable for your average-height guest, i am only 175 tall. Breakfast offers the usual mix of western and Vietnamese food, nothing fancy, nothing special, nothing outstanding. The breakfast room gets real busy from 8 am. Comfortable king size bed with soft light comforter. At the rooftop bar, on the December 31st evening, to mark the coming of the New Year, the Pearl offered Free finger food and then a free New Year beer at midnight. Kevin the manager did a superb job of welcoming and posing with every guest. Then all Staff came out to the rooftop patio to wish all a happy new year and socialized with all. What a pleasure-filled New Year Eve. Thanks to all PEARL 's staff for a job well done.

    HK lake is so beautiful to me.

    HK lake is so beautiful to me. It just like what I pictures the place in my mind. When I grew up in Saigon, the country still divided by that time and I can only pictured the place from the books or magazines or my own imagination. I am so glad to have a chance to see, feel and breathing the air when I was there. I will visit this area again and again.

    Architecture, culture, people and on week end festivals.

    Architecture, culture, people and on week end festivals. Hoan Kiem lake has it all. A stroll around the lake and you go from old town to French quarter to temples. Mornings you’ll see the locals out early doing their daily exercise and at night catch a dance or two. The markets come alive in the streets at night. And of course a visit to beer street is a must. Sit above the big road about in highland coffee shop and watch the motorbikes or across the road is loveletter cafe. Here you can write ✍️ a love ❤️ letter to your loved one and post it on the walls ceiling chairs.

    If you can, go there on the weekends.

    If you can, go there on the weekends. The few major streets in the area are closed to traffic and are taken over by pedestrians and kids on motorized vehicles. It is a “hunting ground” for students learning English. On one walk around the lake, we were approached by se real groups of kids asking to practice English. They all have these sheets of paper with set of question that they ask you. Quite often they come with the teacher who will approach you first.

    Take an early morning walk around the lake to truly get to know Hanoi and its people. See the various aspects of the culture at play, from groups of elderly having their morning dance session to savvy tourists in colourful Ao Dai posing before Ngoc Son temple. Seeing the contrast between the exuberant human activities in the park and the sparsely populated streets surrounding it is truly an experience.

    This within the old quarter is the reason for 99% of visitors to Hanoi. A beautiful lake that it seems the whole of the Vietnamese population want to come to for the special photo opportunities of a marriage. Every day hundreds of couples, awash with flowers and elegant clothes intermingle with the thousands of tourists, dozens of tourist buses, coaches, fast food sellers of every description and quality, cheap nasty gifts offered every few yards with equally cheap and nasty, illegal, sometimes aggresive natives looking to extract by any means your last dong.

    We had such a lovely experience at The Sono Hanoi hotel. All staff were professional, friendly, helpful and like family. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is so conveniently located. You can walk to everywhere: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, dong xuan market, hoan kiem lake, night market. Lee helped us to arrange a day tour to halong bay and Trang An. The trip was very nice.

    Hanoi Old quarter hotel was centrally located in the old quarter. I appreciated how close it was to Hoan Kiem lake especially BUT it was truly the staff that sold me on this stay. Both Ms. Doris and Mr. Jeff were extremely warm, patient and kind. If it weren’t for them, my first day in Vietnam would not feel so amazing! There was hot water and AC + Fan available. They also had lamps that had different settings of brightness which I could very beneficial.

    I stayed at Hanoian Central Hotel for just one night, but everything was perfect. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. The room was cozy and spotless, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were welcoming and even helped me plan my next day in Hanoi. I’ll definitely come back if I return to Hanoi.
