Lodgings in Keswick

Great room and quite location.

Clean friendly staff , could drop off bags before check in time , amazing breakfast

This is exactly the type of quirky historical hotel I like to stay in. Slanty floors, lots of stairs and fire doors, great view of the street below and best of all a pub! The bathroom was large which was a nice surprise.

By far, one of my favourite places to stay! We loved the outdoor terrace, the spectacular views and the genuine staff! Not to mention, great breakfast! Also, loved the idea of having dogs allowed - there were so many around which really added to the wonderful ambience :)

Very clean and new, great location, everything you would need for a stay.

Beautiful, cozy room (Heather( and large bathtub we didn’t want to leave. Best room of our trip - we will definitely stay again next time we are in the Lake District.

Cleanliness, location, and staff

Really nice rooms, super accommodating with the dog (Bowls, Beds, Towels) Breakfast we great, lots of selection and staff were really nice.

Beautiful surrounding, excellent staff.

Lovely dog friendly hotel, great location.

TOP: general atmosphere, staff, location, rooms, food

Great location, great breakfast, lovely room, friendly staff. Also, a good value for how posh it was!

The room was quiet but for the afternoon/evening hours, since our window was just above an outdoor cafe/bar. We needed the circulation so we had to keep it open. By bedtime it was quiet again. The room was small, but that is usually the case in European accommodations. The beds were pushed together but they had set it with separate linens to accommodate 2 singles sharing the bed. The room had a sitting area between the bed and ensuite facility, furnished with a small divan, chair and coffee table. The furniture was not really needed and made the space seem even smaller. We only stayed one night so I suppose anyone staying longer would have found the sitting area accommodating. The room was very clean. The staff was extremely accommodating - twice retrieving 'lost' items, and even holding onto one we did not discover missing until several days after we had left town. We happened to be in Skiddaw later in the week, and on a chance we stopped by to inquire if they had perhaps found and saved it. They still had the item! This is an item that could easily have been tossed into the trash, not knowing it contained a dental retainer. That item would have been quite expensive to replace! The desk attendant tried to help us locate a taxi for our departing day's journey, but in the end none were available on short notice. Fortunately we discovered a public bus that took us right to the doorstep of our country guesthouse for a fraction of the cost!

the location was good and our room was beautiful as were the views from our room which was lovely and clean the breakfast was hot fresh and delicious staff were attentive check in was online and easy to do

Comfortable interiors, fab location- bus stops outside, delicious food, friendly and attentive staff especially the kind South African guy who checked me in when I booked last minute and v late on Monday night.

Very cosy, clean and situated in quiet village, well located to see the Lakes

Amazing location, really amazing!

Most gorgoues inn! We got upgraded to the loveliest room with our two doggos. The room was amazing and the food at the inn was incredible. Everyone was incredibly friendly and we felt at home after a long day on the road. Would 100% come back!

Beautiful surroundings and a cosy hotel that’s ideal for switching off and relaxing. Highly recommended.

The property was a super place to stay. The staff, food and accommodation was excellent.fully intend to go back soon.

Beautiful hotel. The room was lovely and spacious, the staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was the best I've ever had.

Could not love this place more. Keswick overall was incredible and staying here was just the icing on the cake. The room was so nice and the view from it was unbeatable. So sad to have only stayed one night. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Close in to town and free, on-site parking. Good breakfast, vegan options, if desired. Very welcoming hosts!

We loved how clean it was. The food was really good and the staff was so kind. Took a minute for my data to pick up when driving away, but the WiFi was really good. They even tossed our jackets in the wash after we got them muddy.

Efficient and friendly service staff. Hotel location good. Room nice and cozy.

Beautiful house inside and out, tastefully renovated and decorated throughout, great attention to detail Great location with park and fell views Delicious breakfast and cookies every day Lovely staff Lots of little great details that gave a "premium" feeling

This was one of the few places that the staff all seemed very happy. Brett the manager was very accomodating and just a terrific guy. The food was fantastic for breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again. Even though we're not religious, a walk to the local church is a must!!!

Lovely setting staff were lovely, breakfast was really good
